After meeting at Istanbul Airport international departures, we depart for Hanoi on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Overnight on the plane.
Hanoi
We arrive in Hanoi in the morning. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel by private vehicle, have breakfast, and leave our luggage there (if early check-in is not available, our rooms will be ready at 3:00 PM). After some rest, we begin our Hanoi city tour.
During our tour, we first take a short panoramic introductory drive to experience the city’s historical texture. We get a close look at the monumental buildings dating back to the French colonial period, the narrow and crowded streets of the Old Quarter, the small shops squeezed between houses, and the city’s uniquely lively atmosphere. We then stop by one of Hanoi’s most iconic spots, Train Street; here, where the railway line runs right through the middle of a narrow street, we take a short photo break.
After the tour, we return to our hotel and complete our check-in procedures. In the evening, guests who wish may optionally watch the traditional Water Puppet Show; after the performance, a nostalgic night tour through the streets of the Old Quarter by rickshaw can be enjoyed.
Hanoi - Halong Bay
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Halong Bay, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Following an approximately three-hour drive, we arrive at the harbor and board our boat. We begin our cruise through the bay. As we travel among limestone cliffs shaped over millions of years of erosion, islets reflected in the emerald-green waters, and small fishing villages scattered along the coast, we have lunch on board. The tour includes visits to natural limestone caves; the rock formations and corridor structure inside these caves are truly impressive. Traditional floating fishing villages built on the water also form one of the important stops on our tour. At the end of the day, we return to shore and head back to Hanoi. Arrival at our hotel in the evening and time to rest.
