PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years. 

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will send to you for the visa application.

HEALTH

We do not expect to encounter any health-threatening issues with meals taken at good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend being careful about food and drink, definitely consuming bottled water, avoiding ice, milk, and dairy products, eating meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eating fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, excursions may not take place, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the places to be visited, and according to weather conditions. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return home.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated km distances. 

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type in reservations for the 3rd person and/or child. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts taken at the hotel, which are among the services included in the tour program, are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If traveling in the summer season, we recommend bringing T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a light sweater.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

The Italian cuisine, which shows differences by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world with the contribution of Mediterranean influence. It offers a wide variety of options, from snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas with magnificent taste, from pastas made with a variety of sauces to seafood.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not necessarily mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and are conducted panoramically with guide narration from the vehicle, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. For panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time corresponding to the tour due to roads closed by local authorities or not permitted for visitation or entry, or due to any event, and likewise in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the agency is not responsible for the failure to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted, as far as possible.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Venice
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal, you will complete your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and then depart for Venice on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Venice, after completing passport and baggage procedures, we begin our journey to the city. After arrival, we will cross to the historic peninsula by vaporetto and, during our city tour, see the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering the prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice – Bologna - Florence
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Bologna tour. During our Bologna tour, we will see the Fountain of Neptune, Piazza Maggiore (the Great Square), the Old Stock Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we will head to Florence. Upon arrival, we will proceed for a panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its goldsmiths, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici Family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the statues of Hercules and David, Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the 3rd tallest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. We will conclude our tour with a photo stop at Michelangelo Hill, where we can enjoy views of the entire city and the Arno River, and then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence – Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa
After breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time. Then we will carry out the Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa tour organized by our guide. For our tour, we first depart for Siena. During our city tour in Siena, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this city will take you back centuries in time. Among the places to be seen are the San Domenico Church, the Duomo Cathedral, Piazza del Campo where the Palio horse race is held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the City Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all the traces of the past. Afterward, we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with its surrounding walls and towers and is therefore called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Then we depart for Pisa. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square during our visit, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel, we head towards Rome. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Rome. Among the places to be seen are Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned and which is considered the center of Christianity; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and featuring the sinking ship fountain. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome - Lake District & Castel Romano - Rome Masterpieces & Night Tour
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart with our guests for the Lakes Region & Castel Romano Shopping Tour, organized by our guide. Our first stop is Castel Gandolfo, where we will see the Pope’s summer residence and the magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving at our next stop, Nemi Village, we will take a pleasant walk through the village. Following the walk, we will have a short free time for tasting the village’s famous wild strawberry tart and for shopping. Upon arrival at Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous outlet, we will have free time. At the end of our tour, we depart with our guests for the Rome Masterpieces & Night Tour. During this tour, the places we will see include the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, the Palace of Justice, Piazza Navona, the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Italian Senate Building, and the Pantheon. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome – Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, free time until the hour specified by your guide. Then we transfer you to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, departure to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight and arrival. With our arrival, the tour and our services come to an end.
