Tour Program
Istanbul - Cairo
At Istanbul Airport’s International Departures Terminal, after completing ticketing, baggage, and boarding procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we depart on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, we leave the terminal with our private vehicle waiting for us for a panoramic city tour. During our panoramic Cairo city tour, the places we will see include the Old City Center, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sadat’s Memorial Tomb, Baron Palace, El Tahrir Square, the city center along the Nile, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After the tour, following some free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Lunch Included Cairo Museum & Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Tour. Our first stop will be the Cairo Museum, which reveals the history of Egypt in full detail and houses many fascinating mummies. Then we will visit the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, each named after the pharaohs who commissioned them. Built thousands of years ago and still retaining their mysteries, these three pyramids were designed in a way that forms a Pythagorean triangle among them. These pyramids, built years before Pythagoras, show that the Egyptians had very advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After exploring the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, representing the rising sun and the rebirth of the pharaoh. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Finally, after visiting the Sphinx, the “Living Statue” with a temple between its paws, we will have some free time. Then we will be transferred back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Grand Egyptian Museum tour with lunch. Covering an area of 500,000 square meters (approximately 70 football fields), the museum is the world’s largest archaeological museum complex dedicated to a single civilization. Featuring a magnificent plaster and glass façade, the complex is decorated with triangles of different sizes and colors as a tribute to Ancient Egypt. We will have our lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. After the museum tour, free time will be given, and then we will be transferred back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Lunch Included Ancient Sakkara & Memphis Tour. First, we head to the Sakkara Valley (Valley of the Dead), where the people of Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt, were buried. After approximately a half-hour journey, we arrive at the city of Memphis, where we will see pharaoh statues, ancient temples, and palace ruins. We visit the Pyramid of Djoser, named after King Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty, who ruled Egypt in the 27th century BC, known as the first and largest stone structure pyramid built from stone blocks in Egyptian history. After our tour, we meet at the time specified by our guide and head to the airport for our flight back to Istanbul. Following our ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival, our services and tour end, and we hope to see you on the next tour.
