Tour Program
Istanbul - Paris
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, you will complete your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and depart for Paris on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will meet our private vehicle and head to the city center. On our panoramic city tour, we embark on an unforgettable journey through this enchanting city, which feels like an open-air museum, where art and elegance can be felt in every corner. Our first stop is the Eiffel Tower, one of the most visited structures in the world. Built for the 1889 World Fair and standing 330 meters tall, this iron giant crowns the Paris skyline. We will take a short walk around it and have the chance to enjoy one of the city’s most beautiful views from Trocadéro Square. We then continue along Champs-Élysées Avenue, which forms the heart of Paris. With luxury brand storefronts, historic cafés, and striking buildings along the way, you will feel as though you are in a Paris film. At the end of the avenue, the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, erected in honor of Napoleon’s victories, will greet us. Here, we will take a short photo break, giving you the opportunity to capture one of Paris’s iconic images. During our tour, Concorde Square, one of the city’s widest and most impressive squares and a witness to the final days of the French monarchy, the area where the world-famous Louvre Museum is located, and the Garnier Opera House, noted for its elegant architecture, will also be among the places seen panoramically. After our panoramic sightseeing, we board a boat for a cruise on the romantic Seine River, which runs through the heart of Paris. As we pass beneath Notre Dame Cathedral, the Orsay Museum, the Conciergerie, and countless historic bridges, we will witness Paris’s captivating history from the water accompanied by our guide’s commentary. Especially as we pass under Pont Alexandre III and Pont Neuf, you will feel the city’s elegance from every angle. At the end of our tour, we transfer to our hotel. Free time for room check-in and rest. If you wish, you may revisit the Eiffel Tower, shining under the evening lights, and fully enjoy the romance of Paris at night. Overnight at our hotel.
Paris
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we continue to discover the French capital. Our first stop on the tour is Paris Saint-Germain, one of Paris’s most famous districts. Located in the southwest of the city, this elegant neighborhood forms the heart of Paris’s intellectual life with its historic buildings, art galleries, and cafés. As we walk along the famous Boulevard Saint-Germain, which for years has been a meeting place for renowned writers and philosophers, we will feel the classic atmosphere of Paris. Next, we visit the Luxembourg Gardens (Jardin du Luxembourg), one of the favorite places for Parisians to relax since the 17th century. Spanning a vast 25-hectare area, these elegant gardens are located around the Medici Palace and reflect the peaceful side of Paris with their sculptures, fountains, and colorful flowers. We continue our tour on the Île de la Cité. Considered the birthplace of Paris, this island lies in the middle of the Seine River and is one of the city’s oldest settlement areas. Here, we will view the Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, from the outside. During a short walk around the cathedral, we will breathe in the nostalgic atmosphere of Paris accompanied by the booksellers’ stalls along the Seine and the historic bridges. In the afternoon, we head to Montmartre Hill, known as the “hill of painters,” located in the north of the city. Rising 130 meters high, this hill has been a source of inspiration for famous artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, and Renoir since the 19th century. Here, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, notable for its white domes, will be seen from the outside; we will also have the opportunity to enjoy one of the broadest panoramic views of Paris from the hilltop. At the end of the day, there will be free time for our guests who wish to explore the streets of Paris at their own pace or go shopping. Those who wish may shop at the large department stores in the city center or enjoy the Parisian evening at cafés along the Seine. Overnight at our hotel.
Paris - Normandy - Paris
After breakfast at the hotel, we head toward the historic Normandy Region in northwestern France. Normandy, which has hosted many civilizations throughout history, is especially known as one of the most important places that changed the course of World War II with the Allied D-Day Landings on June 6, 1944. After an approximately three-hour journey, we arrive in the city of Caen. This city, notable for its medieval structures, was largely rebuilt after the Normandy landings. We then continue to Arromanches-les-Bains, one of the most strategic points of the D-Day landings. Here, the remains of the floating harbor (Mulberry Harbour) built by the Allied forces can still be seen today. During a short walk along Arromanches beach, we will have the opportunity to observe this impressive seafront landscape that bears traces of the war. In the continuation of our tour, we go to Omaha Beach, which was the scene of the fiercest battles of the war. Here, we will visit the Normandy American Cemetery, built in memory of the American soldiers who lost their lives in the Normandy landings. In this 70-hectare area, the white marble crosses and the monumental ceremony area will deeply convey the historical significance of the region. Around lunchtime, we take free time and a meal break at a local restaurant where we can experience the unique flavors of Normandy cuisine (lunch extra). The region is famous for its fresh seafood, butter, and special desserts made with apples. In the afternoon, we begin our return journey to Paris, traveling through the lush Normandy countryside, with postcard-like views of typical stone houses, apple orchards, and small French towns. Arrival in Paris in the evening and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Paris - Bruges - Ghent - Brussels
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave the romantic capital of France and set off toward Belgium. This country in northern Europe offers visitors a fairytale atmosphere with its Gothic architecture, canals, chocolate, and historic city centers. After an enjoyable journey of approximately 3.5 hours, we arrive in the city of Bruges. Our first stop, Bruges, is known as the “Venice of the North.” With its stone streets, canals, and bridges preserved since the Middle Ages, it is one of Belgium’s most impressive cities. During our walking tour, we will see the Markt Square, the city’s symbol, the Belfry, the Town Hall (Stadhuis), and the Basilica of the Holy Blood from the outside. During the short walks along Bruges’ enchanting canals, the reflections of the city’s stone buildings on the water create scenes that resemble a painting. Guests who wish may join an optional canal boat tour to explore the city from a different perspective. After our visit to Bruges, we continue to Ghent with a short journey of about 45 minutes. Historically an important trading center, Ghent is one of Belgium’s cultural capitals, with its Gothic architecture and lively university atmosphere. On our panoramic city tour, we will see from the outside the historic buildings along Graslei and Korenlei, Gravensteen (the Counts’ Castle), St. Bavo’s Cathedral, the Belfry Tower, and the Town Hall. During the short walk along the river running through the center of the city, we will have the chance to observe the postcard-perfect scenery created by Ghent’s architectural fabric. After the tour, we head to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Brussels city tour. In this city, home to the institutions of the European Union, Grand Place (the Great Square), the Town Hall (Hotel de Ville), the Royal Palace, the Atomium, and the city’s symbol, the Manneken Pis statue, will be viewed panoramically. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel and check in to our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.
Brussels - Istanbul
After breakfast, guests who wish may enjoy Paris at their leisure. Later, we transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we take Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
