PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 30 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

VISA

Uzbekistan does not require visas from citizens of the Republic of Türkiye.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa requirement to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the police officer on duty at the country’s entry and exit points for a document showing the joint consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under the age of 18 and their parents show sensitivity on this matter.

HEALTH

Those who regularly take medication are advised to bring more medication than they need. This is because not all types of medication are available in the country. In addition, if you have a serious health problem (heart, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it would be useful to carry a document signed by your doctor. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and drink bottled water that you open for the first time yourself.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive services, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours / activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether the museums, archaeological sites or venues at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions.

 

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of beds referred to as folding and coach beds, participants making reservations for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type.

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, known as a continental breakfast, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY            

The currency of Uzbekistan is the Uzbek som (UZS).

Dollars and Euros can be exchanged easily. Although credit card use is not very widespread, caution should be exercised against credit card fraud.

TELEPHONE USE

All mobile phone operators can be used if your phone is enabled for international roaming. However, there may be no network coverage in some parts of the country.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

We recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts, shorts and cotton trousers that you can easily put on and take off, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket for the evenings. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

FOOD CULTURE

Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Kazakh cuisine is close to our palate. Since we will have our meals at our hotel and in the best restaurants, you will not encounter any problems; in addition, we will be able to obtain sealed bottled water wherever we go. We must never consume food sold in the open or water flowing from the tap. Since the hotels where we will stay are high-standard facilities in terms of health and hygiene, these risks are minimal.

ELECTRICITY

Generally, 200-220 V is used. The two-pin plugs we use fit many types of sockets. To avoid problems where the plugs do not fit the sockets, universal plug adapters sold in electronics stores can be purchased.

SHOPPING

Pushkin Street in Tashkent is one of the city’s important shopping areas. The best way to find things unique to Uzbekistan is through the neighborhood markets that are set up. Of the many neighborhood markets, the most famous is Chorsu Market.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for the destination/passport where a visa is required) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. Passport police have the authority not to allow you into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

BinRota is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the existing tour and flight. BinRota is obliged to notify passengers of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0-2 years of age do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees

 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place on the day and at the time corresponding to the tour because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering the relevant places, or due to roads being closed for any event, and likewise when it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to conduct the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, on closed roads or at points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul – Bukhara
We meet at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After completing our ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we fly to Bukhara on a Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Bukhara, we begin our city tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. Our first stop is the Ark Fortress, one of the city’s most important landmarks, with its imposing walls and monumental structures, which served for centuries as the administrative center and residence of the khans of Bukhara. We then visit the Bolo Haouz Mosque, notable for its elegant façade surrounded by wooden columns and the pool situated directly in front of it. We continue our tour to Poi Kalyan Square, which best reflects Bukhara’s religious and architectural identity. Here, we see the magnificent Kalyan Minaret, dominating the city’s skyline; the Kalyan Mosque, with its spacious courtyard and impressive architecture; and the Mir-i Arab Madrasah, one of the most important Islamic educational centers in Central Asia. We then pass through Toki Zargaron and Toki Telpakfuroshon, two of Bukhara’s domed bazaars that carry the city’s historic trading tradition into the present day, and discover the atmosphere of these historic commercial areas where jewelers and traditional hat makers once worked. Our tour continues with the Magoki Attori Mosque, one of Bukhara’s oldest religious structures, bearing architectural traces from different periods. We then arrive at the Lyabi-Khauz Complex, one of the city’s most characteristic landmarks, with its pool surrounded by historic buildings, centuries-old trees, and tranquil atmosphere. Here, we see the Nodir Divanbegi Madrasah, notable for its elegant façade and traditional Central Asian architecture, followed by a photo stop at the monument to Khoja Nasreddin, one of the most beloved figures in Turkish and Central Asian culture for his humorous tales and wisdom. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Bukhara
After breakfast at our hotel, we continue our city tour of Bukhara. Our first stop will be the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, one of Central Asia’s best-preserved early Islamic structures, built in the 9th and 10th centuries and distinguished by its elegant brickwork and symmetrical architecture. We then visit the Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, known for its spring believed to have healing properties and for having remained an important pilgrimage site for centuries. Continuing our tour, we proceed to the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshband, one of the most prominent figures of the Naqshbandi Sufi order, and the complex that developed around it. In this sacred site, one of Bukhara’s most important religious centers, with its spiritual atmosphere, courtyards, and prayer areas, our guide provides information about the region’s Sufi tradition. In the final part of our tour, we stroll through Bukhara’s historic neighborhoods and traditional bazaars, gaining a close insight into the city’s daily life and its urban fabric preserved over the centuries. Accompanied by narrow streets, traditional houses, small shops, handicrafts, and the unique atmosphere of local life, we discover Bukhara’s historical identity from a different perspective. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Bukhara – Samarkand
After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the time determined by our guide. At the end of our free time, we will transfer to Bukhara Train Station for our journey to Samarkand by high-speed train. Following a pleasant journey, we will arrive in Samarkand and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Samarkand
After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our Samarkand city tour. Our first stop is Registan Square, one of the most magnificent squares in Central Asia and a symbol of Samarkand. We will see the three monumental structures surrounding the square: the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, built in the 15th century as an important center of science and education; the Sher-Dor Madrasah, distinguished by its striking lion motifs and rich decorations; and the Tilla-Kari Madrasah, noted for its magnificent interior adorned predominantly in shades of blue and gold. We then continue to the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, where Amir Timur, the founder of the Timurid Empire, and members of his dynasty are buried. After visiting this mausoleum, one of the finest examples of Timurid architecture, with its turquoise dome, delicate tilework, and grand interior decorations, we proceed to the Bibi-Khanum Mosque, one of Samarkand’s most important religious structures, renowned for its enormous entrance portal and impressive architecture. We then have free time at the Siyob Bazaar, where its fresh fruits, nuts, spices, traditional breads, and local products offer an authentic glimpse into the city’s daily life. Afterwards, we visit the Shah-i-Zinda Complex, one of Samarkand’s most impressive historical sites, where monumental mausoleums decorated with blue and turquoise tiles stand side by side. In the final part of our tour, we proceed to the Ulugh Beg Observatory, founded in the 15th century by the ruler and astronomer Ulugh Beg and of great importance to the astronomical studies of its time. After learning about the scientific knowledge of the period and celestial observations, we conclude our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Samarkand – Tashkent
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we continue our historical, cultural, and spiritual visits in Samarkand. Our first stop is the Imam Bukhari Complex, built in memory of Imam Bukhari, regarded as one of the most important hadith scholars in the Islamic world, and comprising a mausoleum, mosque, and various religious structures. At the complex, which stands out for its spiritual atmosphere, our guide will provide information about Imam Bukhari’s life and his significance in the Islamic world. We then visit a special paper workshop to learn more about Samarkand’s centuries-old traditional handicrafts. Here, we observe the paper-making process carried out using traditional methods, followed by a visit to a handwoven carpet factory where designs and colors unique to the region are skillfully incorporated. Continuing our tour, we see the Tomb of Prophet Daniel, one of the important pilgrimage sites respected by people of different faiths and cultures. We then proceed to the Afrosiyab Archaeological Museum, where archaeological finds shedding light on Samarkand’s ancient past and the famous Afrosiyab murals are exhibited. At the end of our program, we transfer to Samarkand Train Station. After completing the necessary procedures at the station, we depart for Tashkent by high-speed train. Upon arrival in Tashkent, we meet our private vehicle and transfer to our hotel. After checking in, we have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Tashkent – Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our city tour to explore Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Our first stop is the Hazrat Imam Complex, one of the city’s most important religious centers. Within the complex, we see the Muyi Mubarak Madrasa, renowned for its sacred manuscripts; the elegantly designed Barak Khan Madrasa, notable for its historical significance; the Kukeldash Madrasa, one of Tashkent’s historic educational institutions; the Tilla Sheikh Mosque, reflecting traditional Islamic architecture; and the mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi, an important Islamic scholar. We then continue our tour with the iconic landmarks of modern Tashkent. We see Amir Timur Square, one of the city’s most famous squares, featuring a statue of Amir Timur at its center, and Independence Square, with its expansive layout symbolizing Uzbekistan’s independence and modern national identity. We then take a panoramic view of the Alisher Navoi Theatre, notable for its classical architecture and cultural significance, followed by free time at Chorsu Bazaar, which reflects the city’s daily life with its local products, spices, dried fruits and nuts, traditional foods, and lively atmosphere. After our tour, we have free time. At the time designated by our guide, we meet again and transfer to the airport.
Istanbul
We are departing for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon our arrival in Istanbul, our tour and services will come to an end.
