Tour details

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a participation requirement of at least 20 people.  If sufficient participation cannot be achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

VISA

If you hold an Ordinary Passport, you must obtain a visa from the foreign representative offices of this country in order to enter or transit through Norway. Those who hold a Service or Green Passport are not required to obtain a visa for trips not exceeding 3 months within 6 months. 

You must have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and is no older than 10 years.

HEALTH

We do not think you will encounter any issue in the region's good restaurants and hotels that would threaten your health. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, excursions cannot be carried out, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated km distances. 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the third person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds or coach beds, participants booking for a third person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the room and the bed type. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts taken at the hotel from the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and are generally offered as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

It is advisable to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE

There is a 1-hour difference between Turkey and Norway. When it is 12:00 in Turkey, it is 11:00 in Norway.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

If traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring a T-shirt, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a thin jacket for the evenings, and a thin sweater that can be easily put on and taken off. In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

CUISINE

Seafood predominates in Norwegian cuisine. Smoked salmon is like a national dish. Norwegian stew, elk kebab, and cabbage meat boil are among the traditional dishes.

ELECTRICITY

In Norway, electricity is 230 volts, and the same plugs as in Turkey are used. Examples of plugs can be viewed at http://www.iec.ch/worldplugs/typeC.htm..

SHOPPING

Many products can easily be found in shopping centers in Norway. Imported goods are more expensive and tax rates are high. It is known as the most expensive country in Europe.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or obtaining a visa (for destinations/passports that require a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. Passport police have the authority to refuse you entry to the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport services fee. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, carried out panoramically with guide narration from inside the vehicle, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. The agency is not responsible if panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to local authorities not allowing visits or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot within possibilities at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Oslo - Geilo
Meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and baggage procedures, we take a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Oslo. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour by private vehicle and walk along Karl Johans Gate. We see important landmarks such as the Parliament Building, the National Theatre, and the University of Oslo. Then we visit the Royal Palace, where the Norwegian Royal Family resides, and its wide surrounding gardens. We continue by seeing the Opera House, which stands out with its modern architecture on the shores of the Oslo Fjord, and enjoy the impressive view. After getting to know the City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies are held, we depart for Geilo at a time specified by our guide. After an approximately 3.5-hour journey, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Geilo at our hotel.
Geilo - Flåm - Myrdal - Gudvangen - Bergen
After breakfast, we depart from Geilo and head toward the Sognefjord region. Along the way, we enjoy a pleasant journey through Norway’s mountains, valleys, and natural beauty. Upon arrival in Flåm, we board the Flåmsbana, one of the world’s most famous train routes. During the approximately one-hour journey, we admire some of Norway’s most impressive scenery, with waterfalls, steep cliffs, and narrow valleys. After reaching Myrdal, we return to Flåm and, in the afternoon, take a boat tour on the Nærøyfjord, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During this journey from Flåm to Gudvangen, which lasts about two hours, we have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of narrow fjord passages, lush islets, and villages. After completing our tour in Gudvangen, we continue by bus to Bergen, one of the most important cities in Western Norway. Upon arriving in Bergen in the late afternoon, we take a short city tour and see the historic Bryggen district. Overnight stay in Bergen.
Bergen
After breakfast, we begin our panoramic city tour of Bergen. Walking along the historic Bryggen harbor district (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), we see the colorful wooden houses. We visit the fish and flower markets and experience the city’s lively atmosphere. Then, in the center of Bergen, Ole Bull Square and the nearby Grieg Hall (from the outside) will be among the sights to see. Afterwards, we take the cable car up to Mount Fløyen. At this viewpoint, 400 meters above sea level, offering the most beautiful views of Bergen and the surrounding fjords, we take short walks. On the way back, we stop at Bergen City Park (Byparken). At the end of the tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Bergen.
Bergen - Oslo
After breakfast, we depart from Bergen and head toward Oslo. Along the way, we travel through lush valleys, lakes, and high mountain passes. Our first stop will be the impressive Tvindefossen Waterfall, known for its striking height. After a photo break, we enter the Hardanger region, passing through its famous fruit orchards and fjord-side villages. We then visit Vøringsfossen Waterfall, which plunges 182 meters. Here, we enjoy the scenery with short walks. Along our route, the town of Eidfjord and the crossing of the Hardanger Bridge will also be among the panoramic highlights. We continue our tour across the Hardangervidda Plateau and arrive in Oslo. Accommodation in Oslo.
Oslo - Istanbul
After breakfast, free time. Later, we complete our hotel check-out procedures. At the time determined by our guide, transfer to the airport. On the way to the airport, we will take a panoramic tour of Oslo. Upon arrival at the airport, after check-in, passport, and customs formalities, we will board Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour ends.
