Tour Program
Istanbul – Oslo – Geilo
Meeting at Istanbul Airport's International Terminal. After completing check-in and baggage procedures, we fly with Turkish Airlines' scheduled service to Oslo, one of Scandinavia's most elegant capitals. Upon arrival, we enjoy a leisurely walk along Karl Johans Gate, the city's liveliest boulevard, as part of our private panoramic city tour. Along the way, we admire key landmarks including the Parliament Building, the National Theatre, and the historic University of Oslo. Next, we visit the magnificent Royal Palace, residence of the Norwegian Royal Family, surrounded by its expansive, meticulously maintained gardens. We then view the Opera House, a striking example of modern architecture that appears to rise from the sea with its glacier-white marble façade, offering breathtaking views from its sloping roof. After learning about the historic City Hall, which hosts the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, we depart for Geilo at a time determined by our guide. Following a pleasant journey through Norway's interior, dotted with lakes and forests, we arrive and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Geilo.
Geilo – Flåm – Myrdal – Gudvangen – Bergen
After breakfast, we depart from Geilo towards the Sognefjord region. Along the way, we enjoy a pleasant journey accompanied by Norway's snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, mountain lakes, and breathtaking natural beauty. Upon arrival in Flåm, we board the legendary Flåmsbana, one of the world's most famous and steepest railway routes. During our ride, we admire some of Norway's most stunning vistas from the window, passing cascading waterfalls that seem to pour from the sky, sheer granite cliffs, and lush, narrow valleys. After reaching Myrdal, we retrace the same enchanting route back to Flåm. In the afternoon, we embark on a boat tour on the unique Nærøyfjord, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we travel from Flåm to Gudvangen, we take in panoramic views of majestic fjord passages narrowing to just 250 meters, small farms clinging to the coastline, verdant islets, and quiet villages. After completing our tour in Gudvangen, we continue by bus to Bergen, one of Western Norway's most important and colorful cities. En route, near Voss, we make a short photo stop at Tvindefossen Waterfall, which plunges 110 meters with foaming splendor. We arrive in Bergen in the late afternoon and transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay in Bergen.
Bergen
After breakfast, we begin our panoramic city tour of Bergen. Walking along the historic Bryggen waterfront district—a UNESCO World Heritage site and once a major trading hub of the Hanseatic League—we admire its colorful wooden houses and narrow alleyways that have stood the test of centuries. We visit the vibrant fish and flower markets in the heart of the city, immersing ourselves in Bergen's coastal culture and lively atmosphere. Next, we explore key sights in the city center, including Ole Bull Square and the nearby Grieg Hall (exterior view). Afterward, we take the historic Fløibanen funiculars up to Mount Fløyen. From this viewpoint at an elevation of 400 meters, offering breathtaking views of Bergen's red rooftops, harbor, and surrounding fjords, we enjoy short walks and take photos. On the way back, we pause for a brief rest in Bergen City Park (Byparken), enjoying the shade of the pond and trees in the city's tranquil green space. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Bergen.
Bergen – Oslo
After breakfast, we depart from Bergen and head toward Oslo along one of Norway's most spectacular inland routes. Along the way, we travel through lush green valleys, mirror-clear mountain lakes, and high mountain passes. Entering the Hardanger region, famous for its orchards, we pass charming villages nestled along the fjord, adorned in spring by apple and cherry trees in full bloom. Crossing the engineering marvel of the Hardanger Bridge, we reach the town of Eidfjord at the innermost point of the fjord. From there, we ascend through the impressive Måbødalen valley, carved into steep slopes, to witness the majestic Vøringsfossen Waterfall, which plunges 182 meters into the valley below. We enjoy this unique landscape with short walks from the viewing terraces. Continuing our tour, we cross Hardangervidda, one of Northern Europe's largest mountain plateaus, reaching Oslo under open skies and amidst untouched nature. Overnight stay in Oslo.
Oslo – Istanbul
