PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT 

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports should be renewed, and if it is a country that applies visas to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since our guests under the age of 18 may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents by the police officer on duty at entry and exit from the country when traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this matter.

HEALTH

We do not think that you will encounter any problems that may threaten your health with meals taken in the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, absolutely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, and eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked; for fruit, we recommend eating fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entry and upon return home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES      

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive service with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, the trips may not take place or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for optional tours / activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and hours of extra tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museum, ruins or venue at the destinations to be visited and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION   

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and called coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in reservations for a 3rd person and/or child.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel from the services included in the tour program are presented in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country where you are and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY    

It is useful to have US Dollars (USD) with you.

TIME ZONE     

The Western America region is 10 hours behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 11 hours behind during winter time.

For example, when it is 16:30 in Turkey in winter, it is 06:30 in Western America.

PHONE USE    

Your mobile phone line can be used if it is open to international calls (roaming).

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS  

If traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a thin jacket for evenings, and a thin sweater. In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE           

The country does not have a distinct cuisine and a fast-food-oriented culture prevails. However, you can see many culinary cultures in the states. Although Chinese cuisine is widespread, you can find Turkish dishes in many states. Even if there is no food culture, the cuisine contains many cultures within it.

ELECTRICITY            

The electrical current used in America is 110 volts. In Turkey, this is 220 volts. We recommend that you bring a plug adapter with you.

SHOPPING          

There are shopping opportunities in shopping centers located in city centers and in small businesses selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for visa-required destinations/passports) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or the times before the current trip and flight may change. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport services fee. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, conducted panoramically with commentary from inside the vehicle, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or site entrance fees. The agency is not responsible for the inability to carry out panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if the day and time of the tour coincide with dates and times when local authorities do not permit visits or entry, or if they cannot be realized due to closed roads because of any event, as well as in cases where weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible due to closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not allowed.
