This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Mongolia. If you have an adventurous eating habit and eat food sold openly on the streets; we strongly recommend that you consume only bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat, chicken and fish products only when you are sure they are well cooked, ensure that fruits and vegetables are well washed, and eat fruits after peeling them.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the trips may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for the optional tour/activity may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues in the places to be visited and the weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those indicated in kilometers. 

3-person rooms may be allocated depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldaway or coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country you are in and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

We recommend that you bring USD with you and keep smaller denominations on hand.

TIME ZONE

There is a +5 hour difference between Turkey and Mongolia. When it is 12:00 in Turkey, it is 17:00 in Mongolia

TELEPHONE USE

All mobile phone operators can be used if your line has international roaming enabled. However, there may be no network in some parts of the country.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short and long underwear, cotton pants, comfortable cold-weather and waterproof walking shoes, and a thick coat, one or two sweaters, and fleece for the evenings. In addition, you may also bring a beanie to protect your head from the cold, gloves, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

CUISINE

Mongolian cuisine suits our taste. Meat is used abundantly in their dishes.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be allowed. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  
The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to inform these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 
The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and lasting at most 2-3 hours, carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, excluding museum and ruins entrance fees. For panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to road closures because of any event, or if the local authorities do not allow visits or entry, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the agency is not responsible for the inability to carry out the said tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Ulaanbaatar
Our tour begins with our meeting at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. We depart for Ulaanbaatar on a Turkish Airlines flight. We will spend the night on the plane.
Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast at our hotel, free time to explore the city as you wish and relax. Overnight at our hotel.
Ulan Bator – Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes – Ger Camp (Elsen Tasarkhai)
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for the Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes Tour. Following breakfast at our hotel, we travel for approximately 3–4 hours toward the Elsen Tasarkhai or Bayan Gobi sand dunes. Upon arrival at the tourist camp in the area, we complete our check-in procedures. After lunch, we visit the ruins of Erdene Khamba Monastery, located on Khugnu Khan Mountain and home to an active temple. As part of the continuation of our tour, we will visit a local nomadic family in their home to get a closer look at and experience the nomadic way of life. As the exciting activity of the day, we enjoy a 1-hour camel riding experience on the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Elsen Tasarkhai - Ger Camp (Karakorum)
After breakfast at our camp, we head to Karakorum. Upon arrival in Karakorum, we visit the legendary Erdene Zuu Monastery, founded in 1586 and distinguished as the first Buddhist monastery in Central Mongolia. During our visit, we will also have the chance to see the symbolic Turtle Rock and Phallic Rock located near the monastery. Our next stop is the Karakorum Museum, where we will explore the region’s rich history, and the newly established Erdenesiin Khuree calligraphy center. At the end of our tour, we transfer to our ger camp (traditional yurt camp) to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Ger Camp (Karakorum)
After breakfast at our camp, we head north to visit the Bilge Khagan Inscription and Museum in Khoshoo Tsaidam. During our tour, we will also have the chance to see the inscription of Kül Tigin, the great commander of the Old Turkic Empire. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. After the journey, we return to Karakorum in the afternoon. Upon arrival in the region, we return to our ger camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Karakurum – Hustai National Park – Ger Camp (Ulaanbaatar)
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Hustai National Park, where the Takhi wild horses graze peacefully. Following lunch, we visit the information center and conference hall to learn more about wildlife conservation efforts. Afterwards, we will have the chance to closely observe the Przewalski horses, the world’s last surviving wild horse species, roaming freely in their natural habitat. At the end of the tour, we return to our ger camp to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the ger camp.
Ger Camp (Ulaanbaatar) – Ulaanbaatar
In the morning, we head to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Upon arrival in the city, we visit the Gandan Monastery, which houses the 26-meter statue of Janraisag, the god of compassion. In the afternoon, we will explore the newly established Genghis Khan Museum, which provides an overview of Mongolian history from the Xiongnu Empire to the Great Mongol Empire. Later in the program, we will have the chance to attend a traditional folklore concert. Afterwards, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Lunch Included Genghis Khan Statue & Gorkhi-Terelj National Park Tour. Our first stop will be the magnificent Genghis Khan Statue Complex, towering in the middle of the steppe and holding the title of the world’s largest stainless steel statue. Here, while witnessing the glorious history of the Mongol Empire, you will enjoy panoramic steppe views from the top of the giant statue and have the chance to take an unforgettable photo with eagles. The next step of our tour will be to explore the breathtaking natural landscapes of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. In this unique region, where we will see massive rock formations and the famous Turtle Rock, you will have the experience of riding a camel. We will have our lunch during the tour at a local restaurant, accompanied by traditional flavors. After lunch, we continue through the peaceful atmosphere of the national park and visit the Aryabal Meditation Temple, located atop a magnificent valley. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel to rest. Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel.
Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Gobi Desert & Camel Safari Tour, which includes lunch. On this full-day journey into the heart of the Gobi Desert, famous for its endlessly stretching red sand dunes and mystical landscape, we enjoy the captivating desert scenery. Upon arrival in the area, we will experience a unique camel safari with the two-humped Bactrian camels, the symbol of the desert. On this unforgettable ride, where we will listen to the melodies created by the wind over the dunes and feel the enchanting silence of the desert, we will have the chance to capture wonderful photos. We will have lunch during the tour at a local restaurant or a ger camp, accompanied by traditional flavors. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, free time to spend the day as you wish. Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.
Ulanbator - Istanbul
After the breakfast box we will receive at the hotel in the morning, we transfer to Ulaanbaatar Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we take our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, and our services come to an end.
