Tour Program
Istanbul – Cairo – City Tour – Cairo
Our tour begins with our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After completing ticketing, baggage, and boarding procedures, we depart for Cairo on an Air Cairo flight. Upon our arrival in Cairo in the afternoon, we begin our Panoramic Cairo City Tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. First, we see the Old Cairo city center panoramically, reflecting the city’s centuries-old Islamic heritage with its historic mosques, madrasas, stone structures, and lively streets. Next, we visit the Muhammad Ali Mosque, also known as the “Alabaster Mosque,” which rises within the Citadel of Saladin and is known for its large dome, slender minarets, and alabaster cladding adorning its interior sections. As our tour continues, we see the Unknown Soldier Memorial, built to commemorate the soldiers who lost their lives in the October 1973 War and one of the symbolic structures of modern Egyptian history. Afterwards, we panoramically see Baron Empain Palace in the Heliopolis district and stop for photos; this is one of Cairo’s most distinctive landmarks, inspired by Indian and Khmer architecture, with its unique design, rich reliefs, and tower-like appearance. Then we head to Tahrir Square, one of the most well-known squares in modern Egyptian history and an important center of Cairo’s administrative, political, and social life. In the final part of our tour, we turn toward Khan El Khalili Bazaar in the heart of historic Cairo. We will have free time in the bazaar, one of the city’s most colorful spots with its narrow streets, traditional handicraft shops, spice sellers, souvenir stalls, and lively atmosphere, so that you can shop and explore the surroundings. After the free time, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo – Grand Egyptian Museum – Pyramids – Sphinx – Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we will begin the Lunch-Included Grand Egyptian Museum & Pyramids & Sphinx Tour. We are heading out to discover the most important symbols of Cairo and ancient Egyptian civilization. Our first stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum, which rises near the Giza Pyramids and is considered the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization. In this museum, where contemporary architecture meets the magnificent heritage of ancient Egypt, we will closely explore different periods of Egyptian civilization through thousands of years of artifacts, including Tutankhamun galleries, pharaoh statues, mummies, everyday objects, royal treasures, and the funerary boats of Cheops. After our museum visit, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Following the meal, we will head to the Giza Pyramids area, home to the Cheops Pyramid, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing today, as well as the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. We will see the pyramids, which were built during the Fourth Dynasty as monumental tomb complexes for pharaohs, and the impressive desert scenery around them, and we will take photo breaks at designated points. In the continuation of our tour, we will see the Great Sphinx of Giza, carved from a single block of limestone and symbolizing the power and wisdom of the pharaohs with its human head and lion’s body. Standing in front of the Khafre Pyramid complex as if guarding the Giza Plateau for thousands of years, this monumental structure is one of the most mysterious and iconic works to have survived from ancient Egypt to the present day. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo – Aswan
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we transfer to the airport for our scheduled Air Cairo flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, we set off with our private vehicle waiting for us to explore Aswan’s natural beauty and city atmosphere. First, we visit the Aswan High Dam, one of the most important engineering projects in modern Egyptian history, built to control the flow of the Nile River, regulate agricultural irrigation, and generate electricity. We receive information from our guide about this impressive structure, which stands out with its wide lake view and strategic location over the Nile Valley. Next, we get a panoramic view of Aswan, one of the most characteristic cities of Upper Egypt, spread along both banks of the Nile River, with golden desert hills, palm trees, and traditional boats on the river. We explore the city’s unique atmosphere by observing its colorful urban fabric bearing traces of Nubian culture, its calm pace of life, and the daily life shaped around the Nile. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Aswan – Abu Simbel – Aswan
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Abu Simbel & Felucca Boat Tour with Lunch (200 USD), organized by our guide. Departing early in the morning, we reach Abu Simbel, located south of Aswan near the Sudanese border. Carved directly into a massive rock formation by Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC, the Abu Simbel Temple is one of Ancient Egypt’s most magnificent monuments, symbolizing the ruler’s power, victories, and devotion to the gods. At the entrance of the temple, four colossal statues of Ramses II, each standing approximately 20 meters tall, offer visitors one of the most impressive sights of the ancient world. Inside the temple, the columned halls, wall reliefs, and battle scenes bring the splendor of Ramses II’s era to the present day. One of the most remarkable features of the structure is the extraordinary astronomical arrangement known as the “Sun Miracle,” which allows the sun’s rays to reach the sacred chamber in the innermost part of the temple on certain days of the year. After our Abu Simbel visit, we return to Aswan and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we enjoy a pleasant Felucca boat tour on the Nile River aboard the traditional sailboats that have been used in the region for centuries. Following the boat trip, with the calm waters of the Nile and Aswan’s unique scenery, we transfer to our hotel. Free time afterward. Overnight at our hotel. Note: If weather conditions are not suitable, a motorboat will be used for the Felucca boat trip. Note: Guests joining the Abu Simbel & Felucca Boat Tour will receive their hotel breakfast as a packed breakfast, as the tour departs early.
Aswan – Valley of the Kings – Luxor Temple – Luxor
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we set off to discover the most magnificent legacies of Ancient Egypt. Our first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, hidden among the steep and desolate cliffs on the west bank of the Nile River, which served as the burial ground for the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties during the New Kingdom. With tomb chambers carved deep into the rock, wall paintings that have largely preserved their colors, hieroglyphs, and scenes depicting the pharaohs’ passage into the afterlife, we will gain a close insight into the belief system of Ancient Egypt. Continuing our tour, we head to Luxor Temple on the east bank of the Nile, which was expanded over the centuries with contributions from different pharaohs and stood at the center of one of Ancient Egypt’s most important religious festivals, the Opet Festival. With its monumental entrance gate, colossal statues of Ramses II, the magnificent surviving obelisk, columned courtyards, and reliefs adorning its walls, we visit the temple complex that brings the splendor of the city of Thebes to the present day. After the completion of our tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Luxor – Hurghada
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart by private vehicle for Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. Following our journey, we transfer to our all-inclusive hotel and check into our rooms. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Guests who wish may enjoy our hotel’s beach, pool, and other facilities, and relax in the pleasant atmosphere of the Red Sea. Overnight at our hotel.
Hurghada - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we transfer to Hurghada Airport and complete our ticketing and baggage procedures for our flight to Istanbul on Air Cairo’s scheduled service. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services come to an end.
