Tour Program
Istanbul – Cairo
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, and after ticketing, baggage, and boarding procedures, we depart for Cairo on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon our arrival at Cairo International Airport, we leave the terminal with our private vehicle waiting for us to begin a city tour. We start our panoramic Cairo city tour. Among the places we will see are the old city center, the Muhammad Ali Mosque, Sadat’s memorial tomb, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, the city center along the Nile, and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. At the end of the tour, after some free time, we will be transferred to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Cairo
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we will join the lunch-inclusive Cairo Museum & Giza Pyramids & Sphinx tour. Our first stop will be the Cairo Museum, which reveals Egyptian history in all its details and houses many fascinating mummies. Then we will head to the Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, named after the pharaohs who built them. These three pyramids, which were constructed thousands of years ago and still preserve their mysteries, are arranged to form a Pythagorean triangle. The fact that they were built centuries before Pythagoras demonstrates how advanced the ancient Egyptians were in mathematics and geometry. After visiting the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, which has the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, and symbolizes the rising sun and the pharaoh’s resurrection. Following the visit to the Sphinx, also known as the “living statue,” with a temple between its paws, we will have free time and then be transferred back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Cairo - Aswan
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and take a local airline flight lasting about one hour to Aswan. Upon arrival, after a city tour, we visit the Philae Temple, one of Egypt’s most magnificent temples, and the Aswan High Dam, which took 10 years to build and is the largest dam on the Nile River. After our visits, we end the day with a traditional Felluca boat ride on the Nile River. Overnight at our hotel.
Aswan - Luxor
After having breakfast at the hotel, we check out and set off by bus for a journey of approximately 4.5 hours to Luxor. Upon arrival, our first stop will be the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. We head to see the Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the largest ancient structure ever built in the world. Surrounded by mudbrick walls 20 meters high and containing many temples within, this magnificent structure offers important insights into Egyptian history and mythology. As we tour this grand complex, whose construction took more than 2,000 years and to which every pharaoh added more than what the previous pharaoh had built, we will feel tiny in its presence. After the visit to Karnak Temple, we will tour the Luxor Temple in Luxor, home to the world's largest open-air museum, which was built by the 9th Pharaoh in honor of Amun, the greatest of the ancient Egyptian gods. Following this impressive temple visit, which resembles an open-air museum, we will transfer to our hotel to rest. Overnight at our hotel.
luxury
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join the dinner-inclusive Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple tour. We begin our tour by exploring the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs built for pharaohs and powerful nobles are located. The kings had their tombs built within this mysterious valley in order to prevent their precious belongings from being stolen and to ensure the peaceful continuation of their immortality. After visiting the Valley of the Kings, we proceed to the Hatshepsut Temple, built in memory of Hatshepsut, the first and only female pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. After touring this monumental structure, one of the most important mortuary temples belonging to Hatshepsut, who dressed like a king and wore a false beard after becoming queen, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Luxor - Hurghada
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Hurghada, where there is plenty of sea, sand, and sun. Upon our arrival in Hurghada, we will be transferred to our hotel to relax. Throughout the day, you can enjoy the sea, sand, and sun. At the end of the day, we settle into our hotel in Hurghada. Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel in Hurghada on an all-inclusive basis.
Hurgada – Istanbul
In the late hours of the night, we will check out of the hotel and head to the airport. (Our breakfast will be provided in a box.) After our ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight.
