PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not reached, the latest cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

In destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will send you for the visa application.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed and, if the Republic of Türkiye citizens are subject to visa for that country, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

As our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police officer on duty at the country entry-exit points for a document showing the joint consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this issue.

HEALTH

We do not expect to encounter any health-threatening problems with meals served at the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish only when you are sure they are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entrances and upon return to the country.

EXTRA TOURS ACTIVITIES

Extra tours and Activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums, ruins or venues in the places to be visited and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.

3-person rooms may be assigned depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable beds and so-called coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

TIME ZONE

There is a 1-hour difference between Türkiye and Finland. Türkiye is one hour ahead of Finland.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

Finland is quite cold in winter. For this reason, we recommend that you bring a thick jacket / coat, wool sweaters, fleece, thick trousers, wool or fleece gloves, a hat and scarf. In addition, you may also bring snow goggles, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. The special clothing required for the extra tours you join will be given to you on the day you participate in the tour.

Finnish cuisine offers great flavor to those who try it. In this city, vegetarian dishes, seafood, meat dishes, and all kinds of delicacies are prepared to suit every palate. Cafes, bars, clubs, and many other venues

Shopping opportunities are available at shopping centers in city centers and small stalls selling souvenirs.

Having a valid passport and/or obtaining a visa (for visa-required destinations/passports) does not necessarily mean that entry into the country will be granted. Passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Binrota is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. Binrota is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fee

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically with guide narration from inside the vehicle, excluding museum and historical site entrances. Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to carry out the mentioned tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time of the tour due to closures by local authorities, road closures, or if it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible at road closures or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Rovaniemi – Tornio
Meeting our valued guests at Istanbul Airport international departure terminal. After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Rovaniemi on Freebird Airlines’ special flight FH 811. Upon our arrival in Rovaniemi in the afternoon and after customs and passport procedures, we move by private vehicle to Santa Claus Village. At Santa Claus Village, which has been on travelers’ must-visit top 10 lists since 2008, you will have the chance to meet Santa Claus, take a photo with him, and send postcards to your loved ones from Santa Claus’s post office. You will also have free time to shop in a wide variety of stores, with the opportunity to delight your loved ones with unique and special gifts. After free time, we head to our hotel in Tornio. Along the way, we will collect our thermal clothing (coveralls, boots, gloves, and wool socks). Accommodation at our Tornio hotel. After a short rest, we will carry out our Northern Lights Hunt tour. If we are lucky, we may witness this fascinating natural phenomenon.
Tornio
After an early breakfast, we head to Kemi for the Snow Safari Tour (Snowmobile Tour). During our snow safari tour, we will enjoy a 1-hour riding experience on Lapland’s special snowmobiles. After the tour, we will visit SnowExperience 365, which seems straight out of a fairy tale and features ice sculptures, an ice slide, and an ice restaurant. If you wish, you can sit at ice tables and sip your drinks. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Note: (During the snowmobile tour, children will take part in the tour in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.)
Tornio
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will take part in our Reindeer Farm & Husky Safari tour. Our tour begins with a transfer to the reindeer farm. In this tour, we enjoy a short reindeer sled ride experience at the reindeer farm and receive a “Reindeer Driving Certificate.” Then we will spend pleasant moments around a burning fire inside a traditional Lapland tent. In the continuation of our tour, we transfer to the husky farm, spend time with these adorable animals of the cold season, learn how to guide the huskies in our own team, and enjoy driving the husky sleds along a 3 km trail. Afterward, we will have our buffet lunch, including reindeer meat, at a mountain lodge restaurant in the forest surrounded by white snow. Then we will transfer to our hotel in Tornio to rest.
Tornio - Rovaniemi - Istanbul
After our breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to the airport. We fly to Istanbul on Freebird Airlines flight FH 812, a special charter service. Our tour concludes upon arrival at Istanbul Airport in the evening. We hope to see you on our next tour.
