Participation Requirement

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Required Documents for Visa” list that your agency will send you. In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if the destination is a country that applies visas to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. As there is a possibility that our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their mother or father may be asked by the police officer at the country entry and exit for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.

Health

Those who use regular medication are advised to bring more medicine with them than they need. Because not all kinds of medicine are available in the country. In addition, if you have a serious health problem (heart, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it would be useful to carry a signed document from your doctor. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and that you drink bottled water that you open yourself for the first time.

Extra Tours & Activities

Extra tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for extra tours / activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations and according to weather conditions.

Accommodation

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. 

Child discounts apply only to one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

Currency

The currency of Japan is the Yen (JPY).. We recommend that you bring USD with you for this trip, and also small denominations of it.

Time Zone

There is a +6 hour difference between Turkey and both countries. When it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 18.00. in the countries we will travel to.

Clothing and Necessary Items

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket or cardigan. We advise you to prefer non-synthetic, cotton clothing. You may also bring a raincoat and umbrella in case of rain. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards.

Important Notes

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for visa-required destinations/passports) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Papua Tur is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Papua is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, and carried out panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, without museum or archaeological site entrances. Papua Tur is not responsible for the inability to carry out panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they are not possible on the day and time of the tour due to road closures, areas that local authorities do not allow to be visited or entered, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Osaka
We will meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and baggage procedures, we will take a Turkish Airlines flight to Osaka. Upon arrival, we will complete immigration procedures. Afterwards, we will transfer to our hotel by vehicle. Overnight at our hotel in Osaka.
Osaka
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will take our Osaka city tour. Osaka is traditionally regarded as the “Nation’s Kitchen” or the gourmet food capital of Japan. Osaka literally means “Big Hill” or “Great Slope.” On our city tour in Osaka, we will first begin with Osaka Castle, one of the finest examples of Japanese architecture, built in the 16th century. The castle was constructed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who unified Japan and ruled from 1585 to 1598, and it is known that an average of 100,000 workers were employed in its construction. After Osaka Castle, we will visit Shitennoji Temple, one of the oldest temples in Japan. Shitennoji is one of Japan’s oldest temples and was built in 593 by Prince Shotoku. After these visits, we will have free time in Osaka’s markets, where we will have the chance to explore the culinary spots of this city, which can be considered a paradise for shopping and dining. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Osaka
After breakfast, we will take our Kyoto city tour. First, we will visit Kinkakuji Temple, the Golden Pavilion. We then visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, which was featured in the filming of the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. The hundreds of consecutive torii gates will definitely catch your attention. Afterwards, we will visit the mystical atmosphere of the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, one of the most interesting forests in the world, located in the Arashiyama district. At the end of our tour, we will have free time in the Gion district, famous for its geishas, where you can enjoy your time and have the opportunity to take photos. At the end of the tour, we return to Osaka. Overnight at our hotel.
Osaka
After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our Nara & Kobe tour. We will spend the full day on a Nara and Kobe tour. First, we head to Nara, one of Japan’s former capitals and also the cradle of Japanese arts, crafts, literature, culture, and industry, located about an hour away, and visit Todaiji Temple. In addition to being the world’s largest wooden structure, Todaiji houses the world’s largest Buddha statue. In Nara Park, we will also be able to see the Nara deer. Then we set off for Kobe, famous for its meat. Guests who wish may try Kobe beef during free time in Kobe. Afterward, we visit the Nunobiki Herb Garden, one of Japan’s largest gardens, set on 40 acres of land. We reach the garden by cable car from the top of Mount Rokko. The Nunobiki Herb Garden contains more than 75,000 varieties of plants. At the end of our tour, we transfer to our Osaka hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Osaka - Tokyo
After breakfast, we check out from our hotel. Then we head to the train station and begin our journey to Tokyo aboard the Shinkansen (Bullet Train). It won’t be long before we start feeling the energy of this fascinating city! Upon arrival, we will begin our Tokyo city tour. Our first stop is Asakusa / Senso-ji Temple, which beautifully reflects Tokyo’s traditional spirit. Built in 645, this Shinto temple is famous for its enormous red lanterns and invites us into the mystical atmosphere of the past as one of Japan’s oldest and most visited sacred sites. Right in front of the temple lies Nakamise, Japan’s first open-air shopping street, where we embark on a journey through time. Here, among more than 70 authentic shops lined up one after another, we will have the opportunity to discover many things, from Japanese handicrafts and traditional clothing to local snacks and unusual souvenirs. If you wish, you can taste local street foods and pick up small surprises for your loved ones. At the end of our tour, we head to the Ginza district, one of the country’s most prestigious shopping and fashion streets, to explore Tokyo’s modern side. With its modern architecture, luxury boutiques, stylish cafés, and lively atmosphere on the streets, Ginza offers both Tokyo’s elegance and dynamism at once. After the tour, we will head to our hotel and settle in for our first night in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchi
After breakfast, we will take our Mount Fuji tour today. Our first stop will be the Mount Fuji Museum, where we will learn about Mount Fuji. Then, we head to Oshino Hakkai Village, where we can experience natural spring waters and traditional Japanese life. Here, you can drink the icy water from Mount Fuji, taste local delicacies, and enjoy shopping among authentic souvenirs. If you wish, you can try mochi, the traditional Japanese rice cake snack. The final stop of the tour is Lake Kawaguchi, which offers one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji. During the peaceful boat tour we will take here, you will be amazed by the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo - Kamakura
After breakfast, we will carry out our Kamakura & Outlet tour today. On our journey to Kamakura, the city where Japan’s shogun system was born, we will first visit Kotoku-in Temple, famous for the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of the country’s iconic symbols. We will then move on to Hokokuji Temple, known for its peaceful atmosphere and bamboo groves. There, we will have the opportunity to experience mochi, a traditional Japanese sweet, together with green tea. In the final part of our tour, we will stop by a large open-air outlet center and enjoy free time for shopping. At the end of the day, we will return to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at our hotel.
Tokyo - Istanbul
After breakfast, we will have free time until the time to be determined by our guide (check-out time is 12:00). At the end of our day, we will transfer to the airport. We will take our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. Overnight on the plane.

Our tour ends after our arrival in Istanbul in the morning.
