PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is operated with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement upon entry to Italy. We do not think you will encounter any problem that would threaten your health in meals taken at the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, absolutely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and Activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If a sufficient number cannot be reached, the trips cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for optional tours / activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified km distances. 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are the type of beds called folding beds and coach beds, participants are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included among the services in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally presented as a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

The currency of Italy is the Euro (EUR). It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 3 hours behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 2 hours behind during winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 15:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are traveling in the summer season, we recommend bringing t-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a thin sweater.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which shows differences by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world thanks to the contributions of the Mediterranean influence. From snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas with wonderful flavors, pastas made with a wide variety of sauces, and seafood, it offers a wide range of options.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. The passport police have the authority to refuse entry to the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities and carried out panoramically from the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to roads closed by local authorities or not permitted to be visited or entered, or if they cannot be carried out due to closed roads because of any event, and likewise in cases where it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, within possibilities, at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Bologna - Florence
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, following your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, depart for Bologna on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Bologna, where sights include the Neptune Fountain, Piazza Maggiore (Main Square), the Old Stock Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, the Quadrilatero (old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we transfer to Florence. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our city tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the masterpieces Hercules and David, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the third-highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Pisa - San Gimignano - Siena - Florence
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Pisa. Today we will have the opportunity to get to know the region through sightseeing. We explore the city’s landmarks by visiting the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery, and the Cathedral located in Piazza dei Miracoli, known as the Square of Miracles. After leaving Pisa, we continue to San Gimignano, which brings the atmosphere of the Middle Ages into the present day and is known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages.” Here we discover the city’s surrounding walls, soaring towers, and narrow stone streets. We then arrive in Siena, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During our city tour, we see structures such as Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse race is held, the Duomo Cathedral, the San Domenico Church, and the historic Palazzo del Popolo. At the end of the day, transfer to Florence, the heart of the Tuscany region, and check in to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Florence - Cinque Terre - La Spezia - Genoa
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we leave Florence and head to Genoa. Today we will visit Cinque Terre – La Spezia along our route. On this tour, we leave our hotel early in the morning and, with our private vehicle, first head to La Spezia. From there, we begin our train journey to the enchanting coastal villages of Cinque Terre. We stop in Vernazza or Monterosso, one of the most striking of these five villages listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We learn about the village’s history and architecture, and then have free time. Those who wish can take a walk along the seafront, browse souvenir shops, or taste fresh seafood. We return to La Spezia by train, then board our private vehicle and continue to Genoa. The tour ends with our arrival at our hotel in the evening. Overnight at our hotel.
Cenova - Santa Margarita - Portofino - Cenova
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a panoramic city tour of Genoa. In the historic center of Genoa, we have the opportunity to see distinctive landmarks of the city such as the port area of Antica Porta Soprana, which sheds light on Italy’s maritime history, and San Lorenzo Cathedral. We then set off for the elegant and romantic Santa Margherita & Portofino Tour. Our first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, which stands out with its refined atmosphere by the sea. We take a short walk to explore the palm-lined coastline, the harbor, and the charming surrounding streets. During the short free time provided here, guests who wish may enjoy a coffee break by the sea. After Santa Margherita, we continue with a short coastal drive to Portofino, an elegant fishing village on Italy’s Ligurian coast, famous for its colorful houses and small harbor. With its pastel-toned buildings lined along the hillside, marina filled with luxury yachts, and tranquil atmosphere, Portofino is considered one of the most romantic stops in the Mediterranean. In this small yet impressive town, we tour the harbor area and the scenic viewpoints around San Giorgio Church. After the photo stop, guests who wish may have lunch at seafood restaurants or spend some free time shopping. Following our Portofino visit, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cenova - Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Nice. Continuing westward along the Mediterranean coast, we cross the French border and arrive in Nice. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Nice. On this tour, we first proceed along the iconic Promenade des Anglais, enjoying the unique views of the Mediterranean. Among the places we will see are Massena Square, considered the center and heart of Nice, distinguished by its red-toned buildings and modern art sculptures; the Opera House, built in the 19th century and reflecting the city’s culture with its performing arts shows; and the Courthouse. We then visit the Old Nice (Vieux Nice) district, famous for its colorful markets and narrow streets. We will also see Nice Cathedral, located in Old Nice (Vieux Nice), with its ornate interior and Baroque architecture. At the end of our tour, there will be free time. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Nice - Eze - Monaco - Cannes - Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a tour of Eze, Monaco, and Cannes. The tour begins with departure toward our first stop, Eze village. In this medieval town, built on a high hill, we walk through narrow stone streets and listen to our guide расскаhthe history of the village. Afterwards, guests who wish may visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory, where famous perfume brands produce their boutique items, and join a short introductory tour and do some shopping. We then leave Eze and, after a short drive, arrive in the Principality of Monaco. First, we see important structures in Monaco-Ville, the historic district, such as the Prince’s Palace, the Courthouse, and Saint Nicholas Cathedral, and then we stop for photos at Monte Carlo Casino Square, home to one of the world’s most famous casinos. We experience Monaco with a panoramic drive along the roads where the Formula 1 circuit passes. After our visit, we leave Monaco and continue west along the Mediterranean coast to the city of Cannes. Here, we learn about La Croisette Boulevard, the Palais des Festivals (Film Festival Palace), and the waterfront, and then we are given a short free time. Guests who wish may have coffee by the beach or browse the luxury brand shops. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Nice. Overnight at our hotel.
Nice - Saint-Tropez - Marseille
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we leave the hotel and head west along the French Mediterranean coast toward Marseille. Our first stop along the way is Saint-Tropez, which has become an icon of the French Riviera. Once a small fishing village, this charming town gained fame through the interest of artists and the jet set. Here, we take a walk around the harbor area and enjoy a short stroll along the shore lined with pastel-colored houses and luxury yachts. Guests who wish may browse boutique shops or spend time at seaside cafés. After our visit to Saint-Tropez, we board our vehicle again and continue toward the Provence coast, arriving in Marseille in the afternoon. Upon arrival in the city, we begin our panoramic Marseille city tour. First, we go up to the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, located on a hill overlooking the city, where we enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Marseille’s harbor and the city itself. Then, on our panoramic bus tour, we see iconic landmarks such as the Old Port (Vieux Port), the Pharo Palace, the Cathedral de la Major, and Canebière Boulevard from the outside, and get to know Marseille’s historical and cultural character through our guide’s commentary. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Marseille - Aix-en-Provence - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel, we leave for our Aix-en-Provence tour. After approximately a 40-minute journey, we arrive in Aix-en-Provence, the elegant university city of the Provence region. Upon arrival, we begin exploring the city’s historic center on foot with our guide. First, we walk along Cours Mirabeau, where we see the mansions, cafés, and fountains lined up along this elegant boulevard, featuring 17th- and 18th-century architecture. Then, with our guide, we discover important landmarks such as Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, the Town Hall Square (Place de l’Hôtel de Ville), and the colorful market areas. Aix is also known as the city where the famous painter Paul Cézanne was born and lived. Guests who wish may visit Cézanne’s studio (Atelier Cézanne) or shop among local soaps, lavender products, and handmade goods at the local market held in the city. During the free time given throughout the tour, you may taste local delicacies and enjoy the atmosphere of Provence. In the afternoon, we board our vehicle again and begin our journey to Marseille Airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we take Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
