Rome Masterpieces & Vatican & Night Tour

On this tour, which you can join, you will be able to see panoramic views of locations such as the Baths of Caracalla, one of the largest bath complexes of Ancient Rome; Circo Massimo, where chariot races were held in Ancient Rome; the Vatican, which is located within Rome and is the world's smallest independent state; the Palace of Justice, known for its magnificent façade; Navona Square, one of Rome's most elegant and lively areas; the Four Rivers Fountain in Piazza Navona, designed by Bernini; the Italian Senate Building; and the Pantheon, one of the best-preserved structures from Ancient Rome to the present day.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is operated with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour cancelled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Italy. We do not expect any health-threatening issues with meals taken at good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, choose fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicle to be used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km. 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, participants are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. 

Child discounts apply only to one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY

The currency of Italy is the Euro (EUR). It is advisable to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 3 hours behind Turkey in daylight saving time and 2 hours behind in winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 15:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

If you are traveling in the summer season, we recommend bringing t-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for evenings, and a light sweater.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm.

CUISINE CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which varies by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world with contributions from the Mediterranean influence. It offers a wide range of choices, from snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to delicious pizzas, pastas made with a variety of sauces, and seafood.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to refuse entry. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Delays may occur on scheduled and private flights, or hours may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or archaeological site entrances. The agency is not responsible if panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour if local authorities do not permit visits or entry, or if they are not realized due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted, within possibilities.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Rome
After meeting your guide at the New Airport International Terminal, following your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, we depart for Rome on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will begin our panoramic Rome city tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. In Rome, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, located on the banks of the Tiber River and built as the mausoleum of Hadrian; Piazza Venezia, located in the center of Rome where the city’s main streets intersect; the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, built to symbolize the unification of Italy; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights and public spectacles in ancient Roman times; the Trevi Fountain, Rome’s most famous Baroque fountain, where it is believed that coins thrown into it will bring visitors back to the city; Spanish Square; and the Spanish Steps, one of Rome’s most famous and lively stairways, connecting the Spanish Square and the Monti Church. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Rome
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart for the Lakes District & Castel Romano Shopping Tour. Our first stop will be Castel Gandolfo, where we will see the Pope’s summer residence and the magnificent Albano Lake. Upon arrival at our next stop, Nemi Village, we will enjoy a pleasant walk in Nemi. After the walk, we will have a short free time to taste the famous wild strawberry tart of Nemi Village and for shopping. After our free time, we transfer to Castel Romano Outlet, Italy’s most famous outlet, where our guests will have free time for shopping. At the end of the tour, we return to Rome and transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Rome - Naples - Rome
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we depart for the Naples & Pompeii Tour. To begin our tour, we head to Naples. Upon arrival, we will first take our Naples city tour. During our tour, the Royal Palace built in the 16th century, the San Carlo Theatre, which hosts some of the world’s most important performances, the Umberto I Gallery famous for its cafés and shops, the Church of San Francesco di Paola inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, Piazza Plebiscito, the Angevin Castle, and the Port of Naples will be seen from the outside. After our Naples tour, we continue to Pompeii. In this ancient city preserved for centuries in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, we will have the chance to see structures such as the Basilica, the Forum, the baths, and the bakeries. At the end of our tour, we return to Rome. Accommodation at our Rome hotel.
Rome - Florence
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we transfer to Florence. Upon arrival, we will take part in our panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the masterpieces Hercules and David from the Renaissance, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. After ending our tour with a photo stop at Michelangelo Hill, where we can enjoy views of the whole city and the Arno River, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we depart for the Siena & San Gimignano & Pisa Tour. First, we head to Siena for our tour. During our city tour in Siena, this UNESCO World Heritage city will take you back centuries in time. Among the sights to be seen are the San Domenico Church, the Duomo Cathedral, Piazza del Campo where the Palio races are held, the famous Palazzo del Popolo, now used as the City Hall, and the narrow streets that still reflect all the traces of the past. Then we visit San Gimignano, which reflects the magic of the Middle Ages with its walls and towers surrounding the city, and is therefore known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Afterwards, we head to Pisa. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square, we return to our hotel and have free time. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
Florence - Milan
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Milan. During our journey to Milan, we will stop at Fidenza Village Outlet. We will have free time for shopping and rest in this open-air outlet area featuring Italian and international brands such as Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Missoni, and similar names. After the break, we will continue our journey. Upon arrival in Milan, we will begin our panoramic city tour. During the panoramic Milan city tour, among the sights to be seen are the Milan Duomo, the second-largest church in Italy, which took approximately 500 years to complete, the Fortezza Castle, and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to some of the world’s most famous fashion stores. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to the hotel. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
Milan - Verona - Venice
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart for Venice. En route, we will visit Verona. Upon our arrival in Verona, sights to be seen include the home of Romeo and Juliet, which inspired the greatest love story in history, the Verona Arena, the Scaligero Bridge with its distinctive architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After our tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Venice - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart for the Panoramic Venice City Tour. After crossing to the historic peninsula by vaporetto, our city tour will include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering the prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell Tower and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After the tour, we transfer to Venice Airport for our return flight. Following baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines service. Upon arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
