In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards.

FOOD CULTURE

Uzbek, Kyrgyz, and Kazakh cuisine is close to our taste. Since we will have our meals at our hotel and at the best restaurants, you will not encounter any problems, and we will also have the opportunity to provide bottled water at every place we visit. We should never consume food sold openly or water flowing from the tap. Since the hotels where we will stay are high-level facilities in terms of health information, these risks are minimal.

ELECTRICITY

Generally 200-220 V is used.. In many socket types, the two-pin plugs we use are compatible. In places where the sockets are not compatible, universal plug adapters sold in electronics stores can be purchased to avoid problems.

SHOPPING

In Tashkent, Pushkin Street is one of the city's important shopping areas. The best way to find Uzbekistan-specific items is the local markets set up in neighborhoods. The most famous of the many local markets is the Chorsu Bazaar.

OSH bazaar, located west of the city center, is one of the city's most popular shopping centers.

Gogol, the most popular shopping street in Almaty, is located north of the city center. The place where neighborhood markets and local bazaars are set up is Zhibek Zholy.

On our tour, we will visit Victory Square (Pobeda Square), Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Art Museum, the Instrument Museum, the National Philharmonic, and many other interesting places. However, our Bishkek tour is not complete without visiting the Asia Bazaar. Here, you will have the opportunity to take many photos of the bustling local life. This bazaar is a market of textile products, vendors buying and selling goods, and colorful carpets. Then we will visit Ala Archa. This is a natural park. In Soviet times, only VIP people were allowed to go hiking here. Ala Archa Gorge is an extension of the Tien Shan mountain range. It is only 45 km from Bishkek. You can join a short walking tour to see the panoramic view of the gorge. Afterwards, we return to Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at our hotel.

Then we continue along the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and arrive in Cholpon-Ata. Here, at the Open-Air Petroglyph Museum, we will see Bronze Age rock carvings depicting hunters, ibex, and sun symbols. We enjoy nature with short walks through alpine meadows and spruce forests. Upon arrival in Karakol, our city tour begins. Among the places to see are the Dungan Mosque, built entirely of wood without a single nail, the 19th-century wooden Orthodox Cathedral, the local market, and the “One Village – One Product” shop selling handmade souvenirs.
