PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT 

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, visa applications must be made with the documents listed in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will send to you. To avoid problems with customs police at border gates with torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; these passports must be renewed and, if any, the visa must be transferred to the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents may be asked for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents by the police officers on duty at the country entry and exit points, we recommend that the necessary sensitivity be shown in this regard.

HEALTH

We do not expect any health-threatening problems with meals to be taken in good restaurants and hotels in the region. However, it is important to be careful about eating and drinking when not with the group.

We strongly recommend consuming only sealed bottled water, avoiding ice, milk and dairy products, choosing meat and fish products that are known to be well cooked, and as fruit, preferring types that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples.

Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed at country entrances and upon return to the country.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. Participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, excursions cannot be organized. The prices, content and vehicles to be used for optional tours and activities may vary according to the number of participants.

In addition, the day and time of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums, archaeological sites or venues in the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated km. Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the congestion that may occur in the rooms and the type of bed in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one (1) child only, staying with 2 adults and within the age group specified in the pricing section. Breakfasts taken at the hotel from the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

The European currency is Euro (EUR).

TIME ZONE

Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary are 3 hours behind Turkey in daylight saving time and 2 hours behind in winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 15:30 in Germany.

Your mobile phone line can be used if international calling (roaming) is enabled.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend bringing t-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for evenings. In addition; you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers and spare memory cards. In winter, we recommend clothing that will allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

When German cuisine is mentioned, cakes, potatoes and of course beer come to mind first. In this culture, which has a wide variety of meat and vegetables, there is also a great variety of beer and wine.

The flavors and ingredients in Austrian cuisine were largely inherited from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its best-known dish is schnitzel, and meat dishes are predominant.

Czech cuisine has been influenced by all neighboring countries and is a true Central European synthesis.

Hungarian cuisine, regarded as one of the world’s most important cuisines, is quite colorful and rich. Meat dishes are common, and freshly made homemade pasta is also an important part of the cuisine. “Goulash,” considered the Hungarian national dish, is one of the best-known flavors.

There are shopping opportunities at shopping centers in city centers and at small stalls selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or a visa (for a destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be allowed. Passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. BinRota is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and special flights, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. BinRota is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration and without museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out on the day and time corresponding to the tour due to places not being allowed to be visited or entered by local authorities, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours.
