IMPORTANT NOTES
REGARDING THE TOUR PROGRAM
The advertised prices are subject to a tiered pricing system applied as availability fills up.
You must carry your travel documents and airline tickets with you throughout the duration of the trip.
Sufficient participation is required for the package tour to take place (generally, the required number of participants is planned as a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 40 people, but this may vary depending on the date and tour). If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. A tour cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
Where deemed necessary, we reserve the right to change the order in which tours/cities are visited and the airline, without prior notice and without compromising the content of the program.
Having a valid passport and/or visa does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse entry to the country; BinRota is not responsible for this, and all responsibility rests with the passenger.
BinRota acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be subject to delays, and flight times may also change; BinRota is obliged to notify you of such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. REGARDING
REGARDING ACCOMMODATION
The hotels specified in the program are in the “or similar” category, and the final hotel information will be notified 48 hours before the tour departure.
Hotel star classifications may vary according to the local conditions of the countries visited.
During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events or sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be selected farther away than the distances specified.
Check-in is no earlier than 15:00 local time, and check-out is between 11:00 and 12:00.
The bed type cannot be guaranteed and will be allocated according to hotel availability. Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability and consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed; since additional beds are fold-out or folding armchair (coach bed) types, guests making reservations for a third person and/or child are deemed to have accepted the possible lack of space and the bed type. Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.
For group accommodation, breakfast may generally be served as a limited continental breakfast menu (butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee), in a separate room allocated to the group and at a time specifically designated for the group, in accordance with the culture of the country visited.
REGARDING AIRLINE TICKETS
Tickets are issued exactly in accordance with the first name/surname, date of birth, Turkish ID number and passport details stated in the passport; our agency bears no responsibility for incorrect information provided.
You must be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight time. Online check-in must be completed by the guest 24 hours before the flight. Some airlines do not allow online check-in or seat selection for group tickets.
Our agency is not responsible for airline-related delays, cancellations, or changes to flight times/routes/prices.
Due to airlines’ sequential ticket rules, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight may also be cancelled.
NOTES REGARDING GUIDING AND TOURS
Panoramic city tours are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, conducted with guide commentary from inside the vehicle for a general introduction to the cities, and do not include entrances to museums or archaeological sites.
Our agency is not responsible for tours that cannot be conducted due to the closure of attractions by local authorities, road closures or adverse weather conditions. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot due to closed roads or locations where vehicle access is not permitted.
Optional / extra tours are organized by the local agency subject to participation of at least one-third of the group and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, excursions may not take place, or the price, content and vehicle used may vary according to the number of participants. The days and times of optional tours may be changed depending on whether museums/archaeological sites are open or closed and on weather conditions.
VISA AND PASSPORT
Holders of Ordinary (burgundy) passports are subject to visa requirements; holders of Special (green) and Service passports are exempt from visas. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip and must not be more than 10 years old. The passport must contain blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
For destinations requiring a visa, applications must be submitted with the documents listed in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list that your agency will send to you.
Torn, worn, wet or otherwise damaged passports must be renewed; if the country to be visited requires visas for Turkish citizens, the valid visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
When guests under the age of 18 travel alone or with only one parent, a joint consent document may be requested at border crossings; we recommend paying particular attention to this matter.
HEALTH
No vaccinations are required in the European countries visited.
No health problems are expected in hotels and qualified restaurants; however, outside group activities, you are advised to consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat well-cooked meat/fish, and choose fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled.
