Our first stop will be the Koh Ker Pyramid Temple, located in the center of the ancient settlement that served as the capital of the Khmer Empire for a short period in the 10th century and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Rising in the heart of this ancient site, this monumental structure, with its stepped architecture approximately 38 meters high symbolizing the sacred Mount Meru, is one of Cambodia’s most extraordinary temples, surrounded by vast forest landscapes. Afterwards, we visit Prasat Pram, hidden among dense tropical vegetation, consisting of three brick sanctuaries and two library structures. We take a photo break at this temple, where nature and ancient Khmer architecture blend impressively as giant tree roots wrap around some of the towers over the centuries. After our tour, we have lunch at a local restaurant and then transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Siem Reap
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart for the Big Angkor Thom Tour with lunch included. We begin our Angkor Thom Tour, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the capital of the Khmer Empire in the 12th century. Our first stop is the South Gate, one of the grandest entrances to the city surrounded by 3.5-kilometer-long walls. Here, stone statues depicting the mythological Churning of the Ocean of Milk scene are lined up. Next, we visit Baphuon Temple, built in the 11th century and one of the important examples of temple-mountain architecture. Then we tour Bayon Temple, located in the heart of Angkor Thom, famous for its more than 200 faces carved on 54 towers. Our program continues with Ta Prohm Temple. Built in the 12th century, this temple stands out with the image of massive tropical tree roots intertwined with stone walls and has been preserved in its unrestored state. During our visit, we will also see the Terrace of the Leper King, where royal ceremonies were held, and the Terrace of the Elephants, which hosted official processions with elephants. We have lunch at a local restaurant serving regional flavors. In the afternoon, we visit Angkor Wat, considered the largest religious structure in human history. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this massive complex covers an area of 162 hectares and is regarded as the pinnacle of Khmer architecture. The reliefs and detailed carvings in its galleries depict scenes from Hindu mythology. After the tour, transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Siem Reap – Tonle Sap – Siem Reap – Saigon
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we set off for the Tonle Sap Lake boat tour. This lake, whose surface area can vary from 2,500 km² to 16,000 km² with the monsoon rains, is one of the most important ecosystems not only in Cambodia but in the entire region. Thanks to its connection with the Mekong River, Tonle Sap is one of the rare rivers in the world whose direction changes. During our boat tour, we closely observe the living spaces built on the lake. Tens of thousands of families living around the lake have earned their livelihoods for centuries through fishing and aquatic trade. Traditional houses built on stilts in the region are raised on high supports to adapt to the seasonal water levels. In addition, there are floating houses, primary schools, small shops, and even floating clinics on the lake. Tonle Sap alone provides about 75% of Cambodia’s freshwater fishing and holds the distinction of being the country’s largest food source. Throughout our boat tour, we have the opportunity to regularly observe this unique way of life. After the tour, we transfer to Siem Reap Airport and take our scheduled flight with the local airline to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, we transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us. Overnight at the hotel.
Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon
After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our panoramic city tour of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), the largest city in Vietnam. Our first stop is the War Remnants Museum, which reflects the traces of the Vietnam War and presents the events that took place during the war through photographs, documents, and objects. Then we see the Opera House and the Historic Post Office, both of which stand out with their architecture from the French colonial period. During our city tour, we also see Notre-Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1880 and notable for its red bricks. Our final stop on the program is Ben Thanh Market, one of the city’s busiest shopping spots. After the tour, we return to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Cu Chi Tunnels Tour (50 USD) organized by our guide. Located approximately 70 kilometers outside the city, the Cu Chi Tunnels were built by North Vietnamese during the Vietnam–U.S. War, one of the most dramatic events in recent history, and the tunnel system, which exceeds 250 kilometers in length, became an underground city throughout the war. Here we closely see the trenches, camps, traps, living areas, and underground passages from that period. After the tour, we will return to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Saigon – Ba Den Mountain – Cao Dai Temple – Saigon
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for the Ba Den Mountain and Cao Dai Temple Tour with lunch included. On our tour, our first stop will be Ba Den Mountain, which holds a legendary place in the spiritual and cultural traditions of Buddhism in southern Vietnam and stands out with its mesmerizing peak. After an enjoyable cable car ride to the summit, the first sights we will see are the Bodhisattva statues located at the top. The Bodhisattva of Compassion is 72 meters high and holds the title of the tallest Bodhisattva statue located on a mountain peak in Asia. Then we will see the Di Lac Bodhisattva, known as the Buddha of the Future, weighing over 5,000 tons and representing joy, peace, and abundance. After seeing these magnificent statues, we will visit the Ba Linh Temple Complex, one of the cable car line’s stops, featuring mystical worship areas integrated into natural rock caves and dedicated to the mountain’s guardian goddess. Afterwards, we return to Saigon and visit the Cao Dai Temple Complex. We will learn about the Caodaism faith at this temple, which is known as the center of the “Caodaism” religion born in Vietnam, with its architecture blending Gothic towers, Chinese temple roofs, and cathedral layouts. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.

Upon arrival, we begin a boat tour through intersecting canal streets by local boat. Our first stop is Thoi Son Island, where we will see locally made handicrafts, workshops producing sweets made from coconut, and colorful fruit orchards. Here, while tasting fresh fruits in the shade of beautiful gardens, you will enjoy the music of local artists. Later, we stop by a farm to taste homemade honey tea, and as we continue our tour through the canals, we learn all about the local way of life and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. We will have lunch at a local restaurant. After the tour, in the evening, we transfer to the airport and complete our ticketing and baggage procedures for our Istanbul flight with Turkish Airlines’ scheduled service. We will spend the night on the plane.
