Hurghada - Karnak Temple - Luxor Temple - Luxor
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Luxor. Upon arrival, we will take the Karnak & Luxor Temple Tour. Our first stop will be Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by mudbrick walls 20 meters high and containing many temples within it, this magnificent structure offers important insights into Egypt’s history and mythology. We will explore this impressive site, whose construction took more than 2,000 years and where we can see the additions made by each pharaoh to the tomb of the pharaoh before him. Our second stop will be Luxor Temple, rising in all its splendor on the banks of the Nile River and one of the best-preserved structures of the ancient world. Built around 1400 BC and welcoming its guests with the massive statues of Ramses II, this temple was a sacred center that hosted the coronation ceremonies of kings. At the entrance of the temple, you can see the twin of the obelisk sent to Concorde Square in Paris and the beginning of the 3-kilometer-long Avenue of Sphinxes leading to Karnak. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Luxor - Valley of the Kings - Hatshepsut Temple - Luxor
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Lunch Included Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple Tour. We begin our tour by exploring the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs built for pharaohs and powerful nobles are located. The kings had their tombs built inside this mysterious valley so that their valuable belongings would not be stolen and their immortality could continue in peace. After our visit to the Valley of the Kings, we will visit the Hatshepsut Temple, built in memory of Hatshepsut, the first and only female pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. After touring this monumental structure, one of the most important mortuary temples belonging to Hatshepsut, who dressed like a king and wore a false beard after becoming queen, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will be transferred back to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Luxor - Philae Temple - Aswan Dam - Aswan
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Aswan. During our journey, we will take the Philae Temple & Aswan Dam Tour. Our first stop will be Philae Temple, located on Agilkia Island on the Nile River and known as the “Jewel of Egypt.” This temple is dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis. Considered the last stronghold of ancient Egyptian belief, the structure stands out with its elegant Greco-Roman architecture, colonnaded halls, and hieroglyphic carvings. Afterwards, we will see the Aswan Dam, a massive engineering project that marked a turning point in modern Egyptian history. Built to control the annual flooding of the Nile River and provide energy to the country, this structure plays a major role in the preservation of Egypt’s ancient monuments. After our tour, we will arrive at our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Aswan - Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, we will transfer to Aswan Airport for our scheduled domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, we will begin our Panoramic Cairo City Tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. The Old City Center, Muhammad Ali Mosque, Sadat’s Memorial Tomb, Baron Palace, Tahrir Square, and the city center along the Nile River are among the places we will see. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo - Grand Egyptian Museum - Pyramids - Sphinx - Cairo
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we will depart for the Grand Cairo Museum & Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Tour with lunch included. Our first stop will be the museum, which covers an area of 500,000 square meters (approximately 70 football fields) and is the world’s largest archaeological museum complex dedicated to a single civilization. The complex, which stands out with its magnificent plaster and glass façade, is decorated with triangles of different sizes and colors as a tribute to Ancient Egypt. Afterwards, we will visit the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, one of the seven wonders of the world, named after the pharaohs who built them. Built thousands of years ago and still keeping their mysteries, these three pyramids were designed in the form of the Pythagorean triangle. These pyramids, built years before Pythagoras, show that the Egyptians had highly advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After visiting the mysterious Pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, symbolizing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Finally, after visiting the “Living Statue” Sphinx, with its temple between its paws, free time will be given. Then we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cairo - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. At the time determined by our guide, we will meet and transfer to Cairo Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on scheduled AJet service, and our services will come to an end.
