PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is arranged with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the date of return from travel and not older than 10 years.

 

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

 

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed and, if the country applies visas to T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be on the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

 

As there is a possibility that our guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents may be asked for a document showing the joint consent of the parents by the police officer on duty at the country entry-exit points; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.

 

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Europe. We do not think there will be any problem threatening your health with the meals to be taken in the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, absolutely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS  & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we use with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not met, the excursions cannot be carried out or optional tour / activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations to be visited and weather conditions.

 

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified km distances.

 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants making 3rd person and/or child reservations are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed.

 

Child discounts are valid only for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

 

Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in line with the breakfast culture of the country you are in and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

The European currency is Euro (EUR).

TIME ZONE

The Netherlands is 2 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 1 hour behind in winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 16:30 in the Netherlands.

In winter, when it is 18:30 in Turkey, it is 17:30 in the Netherlands.

 

PHONE USE

Your mobile phone line can be used if it is open to international calls (roaming).

 

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring t-shirts that can be put on and taken off easily, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings. In addition; you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothes that will allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

 

FOOD CULTURE

Although Dutch cuisine is not very rich, its cheeses are worth trying. Other flavors are generally fast food style.

 

ELECTRICITY

The power outlets are the same as in Turkey.

 

SHOPPING

There are shopping malls in city centers and opportunities to shop from small souvenir stalls.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or a visa obtained (for the destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. The passport police have the authority not to allow you into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities and carried out panoramically with commentary from inside the vehicle, lasting at most 2-3 hours and not including museum or historical site entrance fees. Bin Rota is not responsible for the non-performance of panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they cannot be carried out on the day and at the time of the tour due to reasons such as local authorities not allowing visits or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, or when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where possible at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not allowed..

Tour Program
Istanbul – Amsterdam
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, you will complete your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter and then depart for Amsterdam on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Amsterdam, during which Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the National Monument, and Central Station will be among the sights seen. Guests who wish may visit the Flower Market and the Red Light District during their free time. After a short photo stop at Museum Square, we will transfer to our hotel and then provide free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Amsterdam
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we depart for the Marken & Zaanse Schans & Volendam tour. In the town of Marken, you can observe the lives of fishermen in their charming little houses. After having the opportunity to see and take photos of Zaanse Schans, a magical town with its windmills, we head to Volendam, a charming coastal town. Volendam, a former fishing village that those who want to see the true beauty of the Netherlands must visit, will leave you wanting more time in its harbor area. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Then we give you free time. Overnight stay at our Amsterdam hotel.
Amsterdam – Bruges
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Bruges. Known as the “Venice of Belgium” because of its houses situated in the water and its streets made up of canals, the city’s historical fabric, which was not damaged by chance during World War II, has preserved its integrity to this day thanks to its medieval architecture. The single-story, cake-like colorful-roofed houses, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets that greet us in the city square will draw us into a fairytale. After free time to further explore this enchanting city, we will transfer to our Bruges hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Bruges – Ghent – Brussels
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Ghent. In Ghent, which preserves the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages, you will be greeted by colorful houses lining the canals and the historic Gravensteen Castle. The city’s lively market square and bell tower offer unique photo opportunities for photography enthusiasts. At the end of our Ghent tour, we head to Brussels. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour. Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is also home to many institutions related to the European Union and NATO. In this city, which has managed to preserve many historical monuments throughout history, our tour includes panoramic visits to Grand Place, one of Europe’s most famous and lively squares, as well as many historic places and streets known for their Gothic style and architectural character. After our Brussels tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Brussels - Istanbul
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we will have free time until our flight time. Then, we will meet at the time determined by our guide and transfer to Brussels Airport. After completing our baggage and ticket procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Istanbul, our tour will come to an end.
