PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 30 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and must not be more than 10 years old.

HEALTH

No vaccinations are required for entry into England and Scotland. We do not anticipate any health-threatening issues with the meals served at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. Nevertheless, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking when you are not with the group, consume only bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure have been thoroughly cooked, and, regarding fruit, eat fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive services from, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content and vehicles used for optional tours / activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours / activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, archaeological sites or venues at the destinations are open or closed and on weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. 

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed provided for the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 double bed and 1 additional bed. Since additional beds consist of beds referred to as folding beds and coach beds, participants in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have declared that they accept any crowding and bed type that may occur in the rooms. 

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at hotels are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, including butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee; for groups, breakfast may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

TIME ZONE

There is a 2-hour time difference between Turkey and England.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

We recommend that you bring easily removable and wearable T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a raincoat, a light jacket and a thin sweater for the evenings. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers and spare memory cards.

FOOD CULTURE

English cuisine is very similar to European cuisine.  Sunday roast, fish&chips, English breakfast, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and baked beans are the most famous dishes.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that you will be allowed to enter the country. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.  

The agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change before the existing trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0 and 2 years of age do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with a guide’s commentary from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the relevant day and at the relevant time, or because roads are closed due to any event, likewise if weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour, the agency is not responsible for the inability to conduct the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - London
Following our meeting at the International Departures Check-in Counter at Istanbul Airport, we complete our baggage and ticket procedures and begin our journey to London, England, on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in London, we depart for our panoramic city tour. The sights included in our tour are the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the River Thames, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, where Admiral Nelson’s Column stands, the famous Harrods department store, and the Knightsbridge area. Free time after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.
London (London Eye & Thames River Boat Tour & British Museum)
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our full-day city tour. First, we ride the London Eye, the giant observation wheel on the banks of the River Thames, and enjoy unparalleled views of London from above. We then begin our boat tour on the River Thames, during which we have the opportunity to see the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and many other iconic landmarks from the river. In the afternoon, we take a walking tour of Covent Garden, known as London’s entertainment hub and famous for its restaurants, pubs, and shops, followed by free time. We continue our tour with a visit to the British Museum, home to one of the world’s richest collections, where we also have the opportunity to see artifacts taken from Turkey. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
London – Stonehenge – Bath – Cardiff
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart and set out for England’s mysterious prehistoric monument, Stonehenge. We get a close look at this legendary stone circle, built from massive stone blocks thousands of years ago, and witness one of the greatest enigmas in human history. We then continue to Bath, a city that has been renowned as a spa town since Roman times and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historic character. During our walking tour of the city, we visit the 2,000-year-old Roman Baths, the magnificent Bath Abbey, and the Royal Crescent, regarded as a masterpiece of Georgian architecture. In the afternoon, we cross into Wales and arrive in the capital, Cardiff. On our panoramic tour of this city, where Celtic culture is kept vibrantly alive, highlights include the magnificent medieval Cardiff Castle, the famous Principality (Millennium) Stadium, the historic City Hall, and the modern Cardiff Bay area. Following the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Cardiff - Chester - Liverpool
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Cardiff in our private vehicle and begin our journey north. Along the way, we make a short stop in the charming city of Chester, founded by the Romans and known for its well-preserved medieval city walls. We explore the city’s historic two-level timber galleries known as The Rows and its narrow streets. We then arrive in Liverpool, a city renowned worldwide as the birthplace of The Beatles. During our panoramic tour of this port city, known for its industrial and musical heritage, we will see the historic Albert Dock, a UNESCO-protected site; Pier Head, one of the city’s landmarks; the famous “Three Graces” buildings; Mathew Street and the Cavern Club area, closely associated with The Beatles; and the magnificent Liverpool Cathedral. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Liverpool - Edinburgh
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Liverpool by private vehicle and set off on a pleasant journey northward toward Scotland. Along the way, we enjoy views of the United Kingdom’s famous green landscapes, the Lake District, and the countryside before arriving in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. During our panoramic tour of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed city, we see the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, built atop a volcanic rock, from the outside; the historic Royal Mile, considered the heart of the city and connecting the castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse; St. Giles’ Cathedral, captivating with its Gothic architecture; and Princes Street, representing the modern face of the city. Following the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Edinburgh – Cairnryan – Belfast – Dublin
After an early breakfast, we depart from our hotel and head towards the port of Cairnryan on Scotland’s west coast. Along the way, we enjoy the green landscapes of the Scottish countryside, and upon arrival at the port, we complete our ferry formalities. We cross the Irish Sea by ferry to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, and then continue south by road towards Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland. At the end of a long but enjoyable day, we arrive in Dublin in the evening and check into our hotel. After free time to rest, explore the surroundings, or have dinner, we spend the night at our hotel.
Dublin
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a full-day tour to discover Dublin from every angle. We begin our panoramic tour with the River Liffey, which runs through the heart of the city; Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious university; bustling O’Connell Street; and the colorful Georgian doors that give the city its distinctive character. We then view Dublin Castle, one of Ireland’s most important historic landmarks, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, considered the country’s principal cathedral, and Christ Church Cathedral, one of the spiritual centers of the city, from the outside. Following a walk through St. Stephen’s Green, a Victorian-era park stretching like an oasis in the city center, we have free time on Dublin’s famous shopping street, Grafton Street, and in the lively Temple Bar district. Here, you can shop for souvenirs, explore historic pubs, or enjoy the city while watching street performers. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Dublin - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the transfer time determined by our guide. At the designated meeting time, transfer to the airport. Following baggage and check-in procedures, our return journey to Istanbul begins on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Istanbul, our tour comes to an end.
