Tour Program
Istanbul
Meet at Istanbul airport at 11:30 PM, and we will complete our passport and exit procedures.
Istanbul - Hanoi
At 02:25, we depart on TK 165 for Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. We will spend the night on the plane. Upon arrival at 15:25 local time, after passport control and arrival procedures, we transfer from the airport to our hotel by vehicle, check into our rooms, and spend the night at our hotel.
Hanoi
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart from the hotel and continue on to the Hanoi City Tour. We head toward the Old Square, passing through shops nestled among fascinating narrow streets and houses, while learning about the city and local culture. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the mummy of Ho Chi Minh—the architect of the Vietnamese revolution and founder of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam—is displayed; his stilt house, built in 1958 and his last residence until his death in 1969; and the elegant One Pillar Pagoda rising from the center of a lotus-filled pond will be among the sights visited. Also included are the Literature Temple, built in the 11th century and Vietnam’s first university, the Old Quarter, Silk Street, Paper Street, Shoe Street, Bronze Street, and a pagoda. At the end of the tour, we head to watch the show at Vietnam’s world-famous Water Puppet Theater. After dinner at a local restaurant, overnight at our hotel.
Hanoi - Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, we set off toward Vietnam’s natural and stunning beauty, Ha Long Bay. After a journey of about 3.5 hours, we board our traditional wooden boat, receive a briefing from the ship’s crew, then have lunch and settle into our cabins. At the time announced by our guide, we depart with local boats for a visit to Vung Vieng fishing village, which takes about half an hour. Afterwards, we have free time on the boat to enjoy the scenery and the sea. We will have a set-menu dinner on our boat, featuring a rich variety of Vietnamese dishes. We will spend the night on our boat in Ha Long Bay.
Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang (Laos)
In the morning, we will visit Sung Sot Cave, which is protected by UNESCO. After the tour, we will return to the boat and have brunch. After breakfast and checking out of our cabins, we head to Hanoi. We arrive at Hanoi Airport and fly to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival and completion of immigration procedures, we will meet our local guide and vehicle waiting for us, and go to a local restaurant for dinner. Afterwards, we will be transferred to our hotel for overnight stay.
Royal Buddha Image Village
In the early morning, we will witness a ritual where the local people offer food and various treats to Buddhist monks, and afterward we will have breakfast at our hotel. After breakfast, on our tour of Luang Prabang, the best-preserved city in Southeast Asia, we will visit the city’s oldest temple, Wat Sene, as well as Wat Mai and Wat Xiengthong. Then we will visit the Royal Palace Museum, followed by a hidden stupa located on one of the city’s high points. We will have lunch during our tour. On a boat trip along the Mekong River, we will witness the beauty of nature and also have the opportunity to photograph the Pak Ou Caves, which contain thousands of gold-plated Buddha statues. During the tour, the rice wine distillery in Ban Xanghai will be visited. On the return, there will be an opportunity to see and shop for locally handmade woven products at Ban Phanom market. After spending pleasant time at Mount Phousi Hill, where you can photograph the sunset and the Mekong River, we will return to our hotel to rest.
Luang Prabang - Siem Reap (Cambodia)
After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to see and get to know local products at the morning Phousi market. Laos is also known for its handicrafts. We will visit Ban Na Ouan and Ban Ou villages and have the chance to learn about people of similar but different ethnic origins such as the Hmong, Lowland, and Khmu. At the end of the tour, after a short walk at Khuang Si Waterfall, we will transfer to the airport and fly to Siem Reap, the capital of Cambodia, on Vietnam Airlines flight VN 931 at 14:45. Upon arrival at 16:10, after dinner at a local restaurant, we will transfer to our hotel and rest.
Siem Reap
After breakfast, depart for the Angkor tour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital of the Khmer Empire between the 9th and 15th centuries. (For temple visits, clothing other than shorts that cover the knees and T-shirts that cover the shoulders is not permitted.) Our first stop will be Angkor Thom and the South Gate. We will then visit Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, and the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants. We will spend the afternoon visiting the legendary temple-city of Angkor Wat, listed in the Guinness World Records as the largest religious structure in the world. Angkor Wat, the largest, best-preserved, and most religiously significant temple among the Angkor temples, first served as a Hindu temple and later as a Buddhist temple, and has always been an important religious center. After dinner at a local restaurant, we will overnight at our hotel in Siem Reap.
Siem Reap (Cambodia) - Danang - Hoian (Vietnam)
After breakfast, we will visit Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Cambodia, and observe life on the lake. This lake, which is 150 km wide, is also a paradise for birds with the richest and most diverse natural birdlife. Cambodia’s rural life will offer you unforgettable sights. Many trading boats gather at the point where the river opens into Tonle Sap Lake, creating a bustling market on the water. The main products here are rice, bananas, river fish, and clay pots made by skilled hands. The Mekong River runs through the eastern part of the country from end to end. In summer, this river and its tributaries overflow. Water levels in Tonle Sap Lake rise, flooding a large area. The lake’s surface area increases from 3,100 km² to 10,400 km². At the end of the tour, we transfer to the airport and fly to Danang, Vietnam’s scenic hills, on Angkor Airways flight K6 840 at 12:50. Upon arrival at 14:45, we travel by vehicle to Hoi An, the city of lanterns, and after dinner at a local restaurant upon arrival, we check into our hotel and rest.
Hoi An
After breakfast, on our walking tour of Hoi An, we will be able to get to know the city more closely. Among the places we will see are Tan Ky House, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the Fujian Assembly Hall. We will also crown our city tour with a boat ride on the Thu Bon River and have lunch during the tour. Overnight at our hotel.
Hoi An - Ba Na Hills - Hue
After breakfast, we will visit the Ba Na Hills by our vehicle. The Danang view will be admired from the Golden Bridge, and then we will depart for Hue city. Upon arrival, after dinner at a local restaurant, we will check into our hotel and rest.
Hue
After breakfast, during our tour of Hue, we visit the Imperial Citadel, also known as the Hue Forbidden City or Purple City. Then we visit the Nguyen Dynasty’s Kai Dinh Tomb. After dinner at a local restaurant, we will spend the night at our hotel in Hue.
Hue - Saygon
After breakfast, free time and then transfer to the airport. We fly to Saigon on Vietnam Airlines flight VN1371 at 13:05. Upon arrival at 14:35, we will take a panoramic city tour, then check in to the hotel. After dinner at a local restaurant, overnight stay at our hotel in Saigon.
Saygon
After breakfast, we depart for the Cu Chi countryside for the Cu Chi Tunnels Tour. Built in the 1940s, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a vast underground hiding system made up of interconnected tunnels. Used first to fight against the French colonial forces and later during the American War, the Cu Chi Tunnels are said to have helped the Vietnamese achieve many military victories. This tunnel system, which allowed soldiers to approach the enemy silently and unseen, strike suddenly, and then disappear, includes long passages for crawling, kitchens and rest areas, weapons storage, and clean drinking water wells. We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we depart for the Mekong Delta Tour. Our journey on the Mekong River begins aboard our private boat. On our boat tour, our first stop will be Thoi Son Island. This island is known as Vietnam’s Fruit Basket. Here, we will have the chance to taste a variety of interesting tropical fruits. After visiting the island, we will enjoy a short 15-minute walk along a local village road. At the end of this walk, we will reach the Chuong Duong Fruit Gardens. In this area, we will have the opportunity to taste both tropical fruits and Vietnam’s delicious green tea, accompanied by local Vietnamese music. Afterwards, we will take a canal ride on traditional Vietnamese sampan boats. Overnight stay will be at our hotel.
Saygon - Istanbul
After breakfast, we depart for a panoramic Saigon city tour. First, we will see the Reunification Palace, known as the Independence Palace, built by the President of South Vietnam to symbolize independence, but which on 30 April 1975, with the tank assault, became a symbol of South Vietnam’s fall. Then we will visit the historic Post Office from the French colonial period and the Notre Dame Cathedral, an exact replica of the one in Paris. After visiting the War Museum, which reveals the horrific traces of the Vietnam War, we will have lunch, then enjoy shopping and free time at the local market called Ben Thanh. At the time specified by the guide, we will gather and transfer to the airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 163 at 22:15. Overnight on board.
Istanbul
We say goodbye upon arrival in Istanbul at 05:30 in the morning, hoping to meet again on other trips.
