Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger. As our guests under 18 years of age travel alone or with only one of their mother or father, there is a possibility that the police officer on duty at the country’s entry/exit may ask for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents; therefore, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this issue.
HEALTH
We do not think that you will encounter any health-threatening problems with meals taken in the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be observed at country entry and upon return home.
OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with with a minimum participation of 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Papua is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay field tax and field service fee. Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours organized for the general introduction of cities and made panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, without museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Papua is not responsible for the failure to carry out panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time of the tour due to being prohibited from visiting by local authorities, from entering, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour cannot be conducted because of weather conditions.
