BAKU 2027 SUMMER GAMES (GYD-GYD)

DAY 1                 ISTANBUL – BAKU                                                                                                                   

Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight in front of the Turkish Airlines counters at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we depart for Baku on a Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we proceed to a panoramic tour of Baku city with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. During our tour, the places to be seen panoramically include Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center, Venice Park, Baku Boulevard, the famous Ferris Wheel, Flame Towers, Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery, Carpet Museum and National Assembly Square. After our tour, we transfer to the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Baku Old Town & by Night Tour (55$ per person) organized as an extra by our guide. Our tour begins with a visit to the Old City (Icheri Sheher). Among the points we will see are its magnificent historical structure, narrow cobblestone streets, Maiden Tower (Qız Qalası) and Shirvanshahs Palace listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List, historical mosques and hammams, and the Miniature Book Museum. Then, we have free time on Nizami Street, which reminds us of Independence Avenue with its architecture, known as "Targovi Street" during the Soviet era, one of the busiest and most popular spots in the city, featuring live music, cafes and restaurants. After our tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 2                 BAKU                                                                                           

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, free time. Guests who wish may join the Absoron Peninsula & Port Baku Mall Shopping Tour (85$ per person) organized as an extra by our guide. We head to the Absheron Peninsula to visit the Ateshgah Architectural Complex, one of the three Zoroastrian fire temples, whose name means "temple of fire". This structure, known as the "Eternal Fire", is considered one of the important holy sites according to Zoroastrian belief. Then we will visit Yanar Dağ, known as the "Land of Fire" by the famous traveler Marco Polo. Accidentally discovered in the 1950s, this mountain has been burning continuously for centuries due to natural gas emerging from underground in an area of 65 hectares, captivating you from every angle. After our tour here, we move to our next stop: Port Baku Mall, located in Baku Port, which will captivate you with its magnificent skyscrapers, housing world-famous brands and some of the city's best restaurants. Here we have free time for shopping and dinner. After our tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3                 BAKU  

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, free time. Guests who wish may join the Lunch Included Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes and Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour (85$ per person) organized as an extra by our guide. In our tour, we first set off towards Gobustan, located approximately 70 km outside Baku, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the most famous region in terms of archaeological artifacts. Located on the old Shirvan road and near the Caspian Sea, Gobustan is also referred to as an open-air museum. With its rock carvings and painted stones, Gobustan carries very important traces related to the Middle Ages period. Our next stop is the Mud Volcanoes Region. This region is known for having half of the more than 700 mud volcanoes found in the world, including the largest ones. Then, we observe live volcanic movements together. After our tour here, we head back to Baku to visit the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center. Built in approximately 3.5 years, this building designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid reflects the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijani mythology. Considered one of Azerbaijan's most important works, this building is accepted as a symbol of the future-oriented approaches of the Azerbaijani society with its futuristic and modern architecture. Inside the center, in addition to exhibitions, there are archaeological findings, an Ethnography section and personal items related to Haydar Aliyev. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Dinner Included Azerbaijani Night (65$ per person), organized as an optional activity by our guide. We spend a wonderful evening enjoying our dinner accompanied by music unique to Azerbaijan. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 4                 BAKU – ISTANBUL                                                                                                                                                

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then have free time until the time determined by our guide. Afterwards, we check out from the hotel and transfer to Baku Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. After arrival, the end of our tour.
