Antalya - Izmir
In the evening, we meet at Antalya Airport. After completing our check-in and baggage procedures, we depart for Izmir on our SunExpress Airlines flight. After a journey of approximately one hour, we arrive at Adnan Menderes Airport and collect our luggage.
Izmir - London
In the morning, we meet at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal, complete our passport and baggage procedures, and take our direct flight with SunExpress Airlines to London, the most visited city in the world, with its historical, cultural, and modern fabric. In this cosmopolitan city, which stands out not only for its magnificent historical structure but also for its modern buildings, we begin our tour to get acquainted with the city’s general features through panoramic commentary by our guide. To explore the city via the Thames River, which divides the city in two and has been regarded throughout history as its lifeline, we head to Greenwich Pier. We take a photo break at the point you will remember from the “0” Meridian, and then continue our journey by river. As we proceed, surrounded by the various historical stories and views that greet us at every bend of the Thames, we pass the famous Tower Bridge and include the Tower of London in our photo frames, then see many historical and modern landmarks such as London Bridge and the Millennium Bridge, and finally complete our river cruise at Westminster Pier near Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the famous Big Ben and King Charles Street, where we are given free time. During the free time we provide for shopping and dinner, we enjoy the city of London, where history and modern life are intertwined, and after this pleasant time, we check in to our hotel. Flight No: XQ 940 (SunExpress) – Departure: İzmir – Time: 10:10 – Arrival: London – Time: 11:30
London
We have breakfast at our hotel to begin our tour of the capital, the starting point of our Great Britain trip, then head to our vehicle and go to Westminster Bridge, the first stop and starting point of our walking tour. From the bridge, enjoying a wonderful view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, we listen to our guide’s explanations and, as we continue our walk, we have the opportunity to admire and photograph the historic architecture. Continuing through St. James’s Royal Park, famous for its pelicans and natural atmosphere, we arrive at Buckingham Palace. If we are lucky, we witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony and, with our guide’s narration from outside the palace, we explore this magnificent landmark. After our panoramic visit to Buckingham Palace, we reach Trafalgar Square and continue from the square, where the statue of King Charles stands in front of the National Gallery, along the famous route of the Dominion Theatre to reach the British Museum. After spending time in the museum, where we can see Egyptian mummies, the Rosetta Stone, and many historical collections together, we continue along the street where the Royal Opera and Ballet House is also located and stop for a coffee break in Covent Garden, with its street performers, boutique shops, and cafés. After our pleasant time there, we move on to Leicester Square, which features cinema and entertainment venues, and then head to Piccadilly Circus, one of London’s liveliest squares and home to the famous Eros Statue, which has become a symbol of the city. After visiting the city’s most enjoyable discovery points and listening to our guide’s explanations, we head to Oxford Street, the city’s most famous shopping avenue, to allow free time. We offer free time where you can explore the city at your leisure, as well as enjoy luxury shops and watch street performances. After regrouping, we return to our hotel.
Oxford – Biceter Village Outlet (Shopping Village) – London
The day starts with breakfast at our hotel, after which we set off for England’s legendary university city. Our first stop is Oxford: known as the “City of Dreaming Spires”; one of the world’s most famous university cities, renowned for its history, academic heritage, and architecture. Upon arrival in Oxford, with its medieval colleges, cobbled streets, and intellectual atmosphere, we begin our walking tour. We see the Bodleian Library, one of Europe’s oldest libraries, and the Radcliffe Camera, which has become an icon of the Oxford skyline with its circular design, as well as Christ Church College, both a college and a cathedral, where Harry Potter film scenes were also shot. With our guide’s commentary, we continue our walking tour by seeing the Sheldonian Theatre, a work by Sir Christopher Wren and the venue for graduation ceremonies, and the Ashmolean Museum, the world’s first university museum. After some free time in the historic streets, we head to Bicester Village, located in Oxfordshire amid nature and one of Europe’s most famous luxury outlet shopping villages. Designed with streets resembling a classic English town, this village offers visitors the opportunity to buy luxury brands at outlet prices with its more than 150 boutique stores. Here, while enjoying discounts of up to 60% at world-famous brands, you can also take advantage of restaurants, cafes, VIP shopping lounges, and tax-free services. After our pleasant time here, we return to our hotel in London.
London – Harry Potter Film Studios – Windsor – London
After having breakfast at our hotel, we set off for the long-awaited beautiful day. Excitedly taking our seats on the vehicle, we visit the Studios located on the Leavesden grounds, which have been converted into a permanent film studio and where the world-famous Harry Potter films were shot. Opened in 2012, this experience offers visitors a unique behind-the-scenes look into the wizarding world by showcasing the original sets, costumes, and filmmaking processes from all eight Harry Potter films. We begin exploring this wonderful site, first passing through the doors of the Great Hall, touching the steam of the Hogwarts Express, and moving through the darkness of the Forbidden Forest. Then, Diagon Alley, library corridors, and potion classrooms become our areas of discovery. After seeing the iconic Platform 9¾ from the film and enjoying these delightful experiences, we complete our visit and experience here, surrounded by traces of the wizarding world at every step, and head to Windsor, one of England’s most historic and magnificent towns. Famous for its great importance to the British Royal Family, Windsor Castle—used for centuries as one of the official residences of kings and queens—stands out with its splendid architecture and impressive silhouette. By viewing Windsor Castle from the outside, we witness the grandeur of the castle and, during our free time, you can have the opportunity to take photos in this unique atmosphere. After our free time, during which you will feel as though you are wandering through historic times, we return to our hotel in London.
London – Izmir - Antalya
After having our breakfast at our hotel in the capital, we bid farewell to the city, feeling delighted to have enjoyed a delightful holiday program among historical cities, the dreamy settings of Harry Potter, and the splendor of the capital London, and head to the airport to take our seats on the flight that will take us back to Izmir. After a comfortable flight, we arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Upon our arrival in Izmir, we collect our luggage and prepare for our flight to Antalya. After completing our check-in and baggage drop procedures again, we board our SunExpress Airlines flight, make our journey, and arrive in Antalya, where we say goodbye and look forward to meeting again in our next travel program.
