Our accommodation will be at our hotel in Madrid.
Toledo - Madrid
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Toledo, the first known capital of the Castile-La Mancha Autonomous Community and of Spain today. Known as the “City of Three Cultures” because it was ruled by the Romans, the Visigoths, and the Arab Muslims of Andalusia, and with its architecture preserved intact through the 21st century, the entire city has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We arrive in Toledo, the medieval city surrounded on three sides by the Tagus River. During our tour here, we visit Toledo Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in the Christian world, built in Gothic style in 1277 and completed in 1493, and today one of Toledo’s most important symbols. After free time here, we begin our city tour of Madrid, a city that wonderfully blends its historical fabric with modern architecture through its historic monuments, theaters, and museums. Among the places we will see are the Royal Palace, the official residence of the Royal Family; Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de Cibeles, some of the most important squares in Europe and Spain; the Neptuno area; the Alcalá Gate; Retiro Park; Atocha Train Station; Gran Via; and the famous Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium, home of Madrid’s football team with a capacity of 82,000. At the end of our tour, during the free time we provide, guests who wish may visit Madrid’s famous museums or shop for famous brands along its renowned streets. After the tour, we check in to our hotel in Madrid.
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Cordoba, the city that once served as the capital of the Roman Empire. Cordoba, which experienced its golden age during the period of the Umayyads of al-Andalus, preserving its historical fabric and works reflecting Islamic culture, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984. Upon arrival, we will see some of the city’s highlights, including the Historic Roman Bridge, the Roman Gate, the Great Mosque of Cordoba, the city’s most magnificent structure and one of the largest mosques in the world, the Old Town Center, Cordoba’s flower-lined streets, the old inns, and the Cordoba Houses. After our tour and a short free time, we head to Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia. We begin our city tour of Seville, known as the gateway of the Spanish Empire to the colonies and a city where the traces of the wealth obtained from the colonies can be seen in every corner. After first seeing Plaza de España, we visit Seville Cathedral, the world’s third-largest cathedral, which contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Right next to the cathedral is the Giralda Minaret, the only remaining part of the mosque built on top of which the cathedral stands, preserving the memory of the Umayyad state in al-Andalus. We also see the Alcazar, the palace of the Kingdom of Castile shaped by a blend of Andalusian and Christian architecture, and Torre del Oro, the “Golden Tower,” once an old tobacco factory used as the central campus of Seville University and today a maritime museum. After our tour and the free time we will provide, we return to our hotel. Accommodation will be at our hotel in Seville.
Seville - Granada

After the exterior introduction of the palace, we begin our palace visit accompanied by our guide and the palace guide, during which we will also visit the palace gardens and courtyards (included in the price). After completing our visit to this dazzling site and listening to the explanations there, we continue our tour by heading to Granada’s old city center, where we will see Granada Cathedral and Plaza Isabel de Catholica, named after the queen who conquered the city in the 15th century. After the tour, we will have free time, during which guests who wish may shop in Granada’s authentic bazaars. After we meet again, we head to our hotel. Guests who wish may also join a dreamlike evening program in Granada’s Sacromonte area, the Gypsy quarter, where they will watch Zambra dances—an Andalusian style of flamenco performed by Gypsies in traditional cave houses carved into the rocks—and listen to their traditional music. (Extra €55 – optional, includes 1 alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink) The program also includes visits to San Nicolás Hill, with its magnificent view, and the Albaicín district, the old Arab quarter. At the end of the night, transfer to the hotel and accommodation at our hotel in Granada.
Granada - Valencia
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the city of Valencia, located east of the Mediterranean’s Costa del Azahar beaches and also the capital of the “Comunitat Valenciana” autonomous region. As the third-largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona, Valencia is one of the places that must be seen in the world for its historical and cultural richness, and we arrive in the city of arts and sciences. During our city tour, some of the places to be seen include the city’s most impressive structures built in the 14th-15th centuries, such as El Micalet Cathedral, the arena where bullfights are held (Plaza de Toros de Valencia), built in the Arab-Islamic architectural style, De La Virgen, the ancient city gates known as Serranos Gates (Torres de Serranos), and the Bell Tower. We will also see the city’s most famous square and the City of Arts and Sciences Complex from the outside. After our tour, we will have free time and then head to our hotel. Upon our arrival in Barcelona, we first visit Camp Nou Stadium, the Barcelona football team’s stadium, which has a capacity of 100,000 and is the largest stadium in Europe and the fifth largest in the world, viewed panoramically. Then we begin discovering Barcelona with Sagrada Familia, our first stop, whose construction began in 1882 and is still ongoing, and which is known as the unfinished cathedral. Afterwards, we see Gaudi’s famous works Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, the Amatller and Lleo Houses, Catalonia Square, the Christopher Columbus Monument, and, guided by our tour guide, the El Born/Gothic Quarters, one of Barcelona’s most authentic districts. As we stroll through its historic atmosphere and labyrinthine streets, we will see the magnificent Barcelona Cathedral and admire its enchanting architecture. After our tour, we will have free time on La Rambla, Barcelona’s 24-hour street, with its cafes, restaurants, and shopping stores, and then we will settle into our hotel in Barcelona for the night.

Afterward, we travel to the historic city of Girona, established at the confluence of the Ter, Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. Upon our arrival in this beautiful city, where Christianity, Islam, and Judaism coexisted for centuries and left behind incredibly beautiful works, we begin our city tour. We bid farewell, hoping to meet again on another tour program.
