Tour Program
Ankara – Barcelona
You must be at the Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Departures terminal 3.5 hours before the flight for ticketing and check-in procedures. After meeting at the international departures counter at Esenboğa Airport, we complete our baggage and ticket procedures and fly to Barcelona on Ajet Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we depart for a Barcelona city tour. Among the places to be seen are the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Sagrada Familia Church, La Rambla Street, Montjuïc Hill, Spain and Catalunya Squares, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via Street, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Harbor. After our panoramic tour, transfer to our hotel and check in to our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.
Barcelona
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Girona & Figueras & Dalí Museum Tour organized by our guide (entrance tickets included) for 85€ per person. Our tour begins with the city of Girona, the jewel of Northern Catalonia. Although the region is historically very rich, it is a unique place shaped by the traces left by numerous occupations and periods of rule. Among the places to be seen are its narrow cobblestone streets, the Lion statue, the Jewish Quarter, Cathedral Square, historic city walls, churches, and museums. We then head to Figueras. In the town where Salvador Dalí was born in 1904, there is also the Dalí Museum where we can see his works. The artist, who designed every detail of the museum himself, presents us with more than 4,000 works created using various techniques. After our tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a Zaragoza tour. Following our arrival, we will embark on a city tour where the sights to be seen include the Ebro River, the city’s central cathedral, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza España, and the Puente del Pilar. At the end of our tour, we will depart for Madrid and begin our Madrid city tour. The sights to be seen include the Alcalá Gate, Cibeles Square and Fountain, Paseo del Prado and Apollo Fountain, Retiro Park, Castellana Streets, the Arena, the Botanical Garden, Neptuno Fountain, and the City Hall. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Toledo tour organized by our guide for €85 per person. Toledo, one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the former capital of Spain, is known as the city of El Greco and is one of the rare cities that has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. In the city, which will welcome us with structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, paintings by El Greco, and of course its famous cathedral, we will take a walk in the Jewish Quarter and then return to Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.
Madrid - Ankara
After breakfast, check out of the rooms and transfer to Madrid airport. Following baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, depart for Ankara on Ajet Airlines flight. Arrival in Ankara and the end of our tour.
