Direct Flight Tour From Ankara To France-Switzerland-Germany Route (STR-STR)

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days prior to the tour start. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.

HEALTH

We do not anticipate any health-threatening issues with meals served at the region's excellent restaurants and hotels. However, we recommend that when you are not with the group, you exercise caution regarding food and drink: consume only bottled water with sealed caps, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, eat only meat and fish products that are thoroughly cooked, and prefer fruits that can be peeled such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by our local partner agency with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people and are not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not met, these excursions may not take place, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and vehicles used may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the dates and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, historical sites, or venues in the destination are open or closed, and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified kilometers.

Triple rooms are assigned based on hotel availability. In such rooms, the third bed may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed and one extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or sofa-bed type, participants (third person and/or children) booking triple rooms are deemed to have accepted potential room crowding and the type of extra bed.

Child discounts apply only to one child aged within the specified range in the pricing section, staying with two adults.

Breakfasts included in the tour package are served according to the local breakfast culture, typically as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.

CURRENCY

The European currency is Euro (EUR). It is advisable to carry Euros (EUR).

TIME ZONE

The European time zone is approximately 2 hours behind Turkey.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

If traveling in summer, we recommend bringing easily wearable items such as T-shirts, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket, and a thin sweater for evenings. Additionally, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards. For winter travel, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

French cuisine, rooted in the Middle Ages, boasts a rich culture. Famous for its wines and diverse cheeses, French cuisine is renowned worldwide for meat dishes prepared with various sauces and famous desserts such as crème brûlée, macarons, and soufflés. 

In France, lunch and dinner typically include appetizers, soups, vegetable, meat, and fish main courses, followed by a cheese plate and dessert.

Swiss food culture tends to be relatively simple, based on staple ingredients like potatoes and Swiss cheese.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not guarantee entry into the country. Border police have the authority to deny entry. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the traveler.  

The agency acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be delays in scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to the current tour and flight. The agency is obligated to notify passengers of such changes as soon as possible. Passengers purchase the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes or airport service fees. 

City tours included in the tour package are panoramic sightseeing tours lasting up to 2-3 hours, designed to provide a general introduction to cities, conducted from the vehicle with a guide's commentary, and do not include entrance fees to museums or historical sites. Should these panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, not be able to proceed due to restrictions imposed by local authorities on the day and time of the tour, road closures due to events, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, the agency shall not be held responsible for the inability to conduct said tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot where vehicle access is restricted or not permitted, to the extent possible.
