Visa

Ordinary Passport                     Visa required (Multiple-entry Schengen)

Green Passport                          Visa not required

Service Passport                       Visa not required

Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and must not be older than 10 years.

Having a valid passport and/or an issued visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Gazella is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the relevant country applies a visa requirement to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

Since guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or accompanied by only one of their parents may be asked by the police officer on duty at entry and exit points to provide a document showing the joint consent of both parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.

Health

River Cruise ships do not have equipped health centers staffed by specialist doctors and medical personnel. In emergencies, reception will call medical teams from the nearest healthcare facility to the ship within a very short time. Such healthcare services are subject to a fee. Your health insurance will provide support in this regard.

Optional Tours & Activities

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive services, subject to a minimum participation of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations are open or closed, as well as weather conditions.

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's commentary from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrances. The Tour Operator is not responsible if the panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits to or entry into the relevant places on the day and at the time scheduled for the tour, because roads are closed due to any event, or because weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, where possible, on closed roads or at points where vehicle access is not permitted.
