FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT  

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the “Required Documents for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you for the visa application.

To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports should be renewed, and if it is a country that applies visa requirements to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.

Since our guests under 18 may be asked for a document showing the joint consent of the parents by the police officer on duty at the country entry and exit points when traveling alone or with only one of their parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay special attention to this matter.

HEALTH 

There is no vaccination requirement upon entry to Spain. We do not think there will be any problem threatening your health with meals taken at the region’s good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits with peel that can be removed, such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS  & ACTIVITIES       

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, excursions cannot be carried out, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums, ruins, or venues at the destinations and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION     

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms, the bed offered to the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are fold-away or coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have acknowledged the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type.

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts received at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY     

The currency of Spain is the Euro (EUR).

It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE      

Spain is 2 hours behind Turkey during daylight saving time and 1 hour behind during winter time.

For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 17:30 in Spain.

TELEPHONE USAGE     

Your mobile phone line is usable if international calling (roaming) is enabled.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS    

If you are traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton pants, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a thin sweater.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.

FOOD CULTURE            

Spanish cuisine is derived from a complex history in which the traditions of Spain’s invasions and conquests transformed and introduced new ingredients for use. Thus, Spain’s current and old cuisine combines old and new traditions. Gazpacho soup, Fajita, and the delicious snack Tapas are among the important flavors of the cuisine.

ELECTRICITY            

The electrical outlets are the same as in Turkey.

SHOPPING          

Shopping opportunities are available at shopping centers in city centers and small stalls selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES            

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for visa-required destinations/passports) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. Bin Rota is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delay, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obligated to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary and not including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. In the event that panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place on the day and time corresponding to the tour due to restrictions by local authorities, or because of closed roads due to any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Bin Rota is not responsible for the inability to carry out the aforementioned tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, as far as possible, at locations where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Ankara – Madrid
You must be at Ankara Esenboğa Airport’s International Departures terminal 3.5 hours before the flight for ticketing and check-in procedures. After meeting at the International Departures counter at Esenboğa Airport, we complete our baggage and ticket procedures and fly to Madrid on Ajet Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we begin our Madrid city tour. Places to be seen include Alcalá Gate, Cibeles Square and Fountain, Paseo del Prado and Apollo Fountain, Retiro Park, Castellana Streets, Arena, Botanical Garden, Neptune Fountain, and City Hall. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
Madrid - Seville
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we will depart for Seville. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Seville, where we will see, among other places, Spain Square, the Gold Tower, Paula Monastery, the Maria Luisa Park, famous for its pools and gardens, and Santa Cruz Square. During the city tour, we will also view panoramically the Alcazar Palace, one of the unique examples of Arab architecture, and the Seville Cathedral, the 3rd largest cathedral in the world, from the outside. In the evening, our guests who wish may optionally join the Flamenco Show Night Event, a classic of Spain, which we will organize (55 Euro). At the end of the night, we return to our hotel. Seville - Cordoba - Granada
After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to Cordoba. We leave our hotel for our Cordoba Old Town & Cordoba Mosque tour (entrance tickets included). In Cordoba, which was one of the most populated cities in the world during the 10th and 11th centuries, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities lived together in peace at that time, and thanks to the contributions of important philosophers, scientists, and artists, the city became one of Europe’s most important cultural centers. During our tour of Cordoba, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, places to be visited include the Renaissance-era Palacio de Viana, the Jewish Quarter, and the Cordoba Mosque, whose construction began in 785 and was completed in 987, one of the most influential structures of Western Islamic art. We then transfer to Granada. On our Granada city tour, Grand Via, the historic La Rambla Square, and the town hall square Plaza del Carmen will be among the places to be seen. After our city tour, we will stay at our hotel for the night.
Granada - Valencia
After breakfast, we depart for the Alhambra Palace tour (admission tickets included) (Since tickets are issued in individual names and availability is limited, in the high season it may not be possible to secure hareem tickets for late registrations.) During this tour, we will visit the Alhambra Palace, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens. Afterwards, we head to Valencia. Upon arrival, we will take a city tour. Among the places to be seen are Santiago Calatrava’s world-renowned City of Arts and Sciences, the Gothic Cathedral, the Micalet Bell Tower, the Lonja Market, where barter trade was conducted in the 15th century, the Arena, the Town Hall Square, and the old market area. After the city tour, we transfer to our hotel.
Valencia - Barcelona
After breakfast, we will head to Barcelona. Upon our arrival, we will take part in a Barcelona city tour where we will discover Catalonia’s capital and Spain’s second-largest city. During our tour, the places to be seen include the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Sagrada Familia Church, La Rambla Street, Montjuïc Hill, Spain and Catalunya Squares, Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Via Street, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Port. After our panoramic tour, transfer to our hotel and check in to our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.
Barcelona
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we depart from the hotel to carry out the Girona & Figueras & Dalí Museum tour (entrance tickets included). Our tour begins with the city of Girona, the jewel of Northern Catalonia. Although the region is very rich in history, it is a unique place marked by the traces left by numerous occupations and rulers. Its cobblestone narrow streets, the Lion statue, the Jewish Quarter, Cathedral Square, historic walls, churches, and museums are among the places to be seen. We then head to the city of Figueras. In the town where Salvador Dalí was born in 1904, there is also the Dalí Museum, where we can see his works. The artist, who designed every detail of the museum himself, also presents more than 4,000 works created using various techniques in the museum. After our tour, we transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
Barcelona-Ankara
After breakfast, vacate the rooms and transfer to Barcelona Airport. Following baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, depart for Ankara on Ajet Airlines’ flight. Arrival in Ankara and the end of our trip.
