Ankara – Tirana - Shkodra
We will meet our valued guests at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Departures terminal at least 3 hours before the flight. After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart on AJET Airlines to Tirana. Upon our arrival in Tirana, we will leave the airport. With our arrival in Shkodër, the second-largest city in Albania, we will proceed directly to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Shkodër – Kotor – Budva – Trebinje
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart and head to Montenegro, one of the world’s youngest states. We then arrive in Budva, an important historical and natural paradise and a popular tourist attraction. In Budva, we will have a panoramic view of St. Stefan Island, which was once a fishing settlement, later expropriated, and then sold to a Singaporean multimillionaire, and today has been brought into tourism through restoration work. Next, we visit Budva, one of the Balkans’ most famous holiday resorts, with its magnificent beaches and vibrant nightlife. On our walking tour here, we will visit Stari Grad (the old town center) and the fortress. After free time, we head to Kotor. Here, on our walking tour of Stari Grad (the Old Town-Castle), we get to know this charming town. After the city tour, we have free time. Following free time, we travel via Kotor and Perast to Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Overnight stay and dinner will be at our hotel in Trebinje.
Trebinje – Počitelj – Mostar - Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we check out from the hotel. Our first stop is Počitelj, known as the Turkish Village, where we visit the buildings constructed by the Ottomans in the 16th century, preserved with their historical texture, and then we continue on to Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, we begin our walking tour and first see the Mostar Bridge. Built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. The bridge was destroyed in 1992 by Croatian artillery during the war, but with significant contributions from the Republic of Türkiye, it was reopened in 2004. After completing our tour here, we depart for the capital, Sarajevo, at the time determined by our guide. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Sarajevo city tour. The tour includes the most distinguished bazaar in Europe, Baščaršija; the Kuršumli Madrasa, which has remained in operation since the Ottoman period; Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque; the Clock Tower; the Catholic Cathedral; Orthodox Churches; the Jewish Synagogue; the Latin Bridge, where World War I began; and the Fatih Mosque, attributed to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han. We will complete our city tour at the Eternal Flame. After the city tour, free time. Overnight stay and dinner at our hotel.
Sarajevo - Belgrade
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we depart for Belgrade. Upon arrival, during our panoramic city tour, we will see Kalemegdan Square, the Military Museum, the Istanbul Gate, the Clock Tower, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Dungeon Gate, Leopoldov Gate, the Sokullu Mehmed Pasha Fountain, the Stefan Lazarević Monument, Nebojsa Tower, the Saborna Church, Republic Square, and Terazije Square, among other places. After the city tour, we will have free time, followed by transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
Belgrade – Skopje
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and arrive in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, where we begin our city tour. In Skopje, the sights to be seen include the Turkish Bazaar, the Vardar River, the Fortress, the Stone Bridge dating back to the 6th century, Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods, Daut Pasha Baths, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Sultan Murat Mosque, Isa Bey Mosque, the Double Bath, Sulu Han, Kapan Han, the Clock Tower, Macedonia Square, the old and new train stations, the government building, parliament, the 17th-century St. Spas Church, the Mother Teresa Monument, and Mother Teresa’s House, where you can enjoy and photograph panoramic views of Skopje. After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay and dinner at our hotel.
Skopje – Pristina – Prizren – Skopje
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel and arrive in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic city tour introducing this beautiful city, which dates back 15 centuries. During our panoramic tour, the places we will visit include the Clock Tower dating back to the 19th century, the Kosovo Museum, the Fatih Sultan Mehmed Complex built by the Ottomans in the 15th century, the Yashar Pasha Mosque, and the tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigar, who was killed here as a result of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. We arrive in Prizren, Kosovo’s second-largest city. On our city tour in Prizren, the places we will see include the Halveti Tekke, the Gazi Mehmet Pasha Bathhouse, the Sinan Pasha Mosque, one of the finest examples of the architecture of the period, the Serbian quarter where you can still see the destructive effects of the war, and the City Fortress dating back to the Roman period. After our tour here, we are transferred to our hotel in Skopje, where we will stay overnight. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
Skopje – Bitola (Manastir) – Resen – Ohrid
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and arrive in the city of Bitola (Monastir). During our tour, we will see the Turkish Bazaar, the Bedesten, the Ishak Paşa Mosque, and the Yeni Mosque. We then visit the Military High School where Atatürk graduated and the Atatürk Museum, where you will experience some of the most emotional moments of the trip. After free time, we depart for Resne. We visit the palace of Resneli Niyazi, one of the three most famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress, who gained fame due to his contributions in the Turkish-Greek War. Afterwards, we arrive in Ohrid, where we will stay overnight. Upon arrival, we begin our Ohrid city tour. During this tour, the places to be seen panoramically include St. Panteleimon, the most important church in Ohrid from the Byzantine period; Hagia Sophia Church, which is still used for concerts today; the Roman amphitheater; Car Samuel’s Fortress; St. Bogorodica Perivlerta; the 4th-century churches of Keşanlı Imareti, Kuloğlu, and Emin Mahmut Mosques; Çınar Square; and the Ohrid Halveti Tekke. Afterwards, free time. Following the tour, transfer to our hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and settle into your rooms. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel. Ohrid – Tirana – Ankara
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and depart for Tirana, the capital of Albania. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic city tour of Tirana. Among the places to be seen are the Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, and Skanderbeg Monument and Square. At the time announced by our guide, we transfer to the airport. We depart for Ankara on AJET Airlines flight *** and arrive at ***. This concludes our tour.
