This famous town, where the aristocracy of the Tsarist era met the Tsar's family, also includes the school where poet Pushkin studied. Our tour continues with a panoramic visit to the Catherine Palace. A grand structure reflecting the splendor of the Baroque period, built in 1717, the palace has undergone numerous transformations since its original design. Known as the summer residence of Empress Elizabeth and Catherine the Great in the late 18th century, it is now one of the most important historical structures that must be seen in Russian architecture. After the town excursion, return to St. Petersburg and free time. Guests who wish may join the Peter and Paul Fortress Tour (per person 55€) organized additionally by our guide. Founded by Tsar Peter I on May 27, 1703, on Rabbit Island in the Neva River, the fortress is considered the birthplace of St. Petersburg. Initially built as earth and wooden fortifications, the fortress was later rebuilt in stone. Throughout history, the fortress complex served defensive purposes and also housed the famous Trubetskoy Bastion, where political prisoners were held. The Peter and Paul Cathedral within the fortress was constructed between 1712–1733 and remained the tallest building in the city for many years. With its tower reaching approximately 122.5 meters and a golden angel figure on top, it is one of the city's iconic structures. Here lie the tombs of many Russian rulers from Peter the Great to Nicholas II, as well as members of the imperial family. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Guests who wish may join the Grand Bridges & Neva River Boat Tour (per person 75€), an optional event organized by our guide, which is one of the most special ways to experience the unique atmosphere of Saint Petersburg, operating only during the summer season and opening at night. Joining our boat tour in the evening to experience this unforgettable night, we witness the silhouette of the city taking on a completely different appearance with lights from across the Neva. Especially during the "White Nights" season, this tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the romantic and mysterious atmosphere of the city during the enchanting hours when the sky remains bright for a long time. As the night progresses, the historic buildings, magnificent palaces, and elegant architecture of Saint Petersburg seem like a fairytale scene with their reflections in the river. As our boat glides along the Neva, you will have the chance to discover the city's most characteristic points from a different and impressive perspective. The climax of the night is the gradual raising of the famous bridges in the city, starting with the Palace Bridge. The slow opening of these colossal bridges and the magnificent view dividing the night into two banks create one of the most impressive landscapes unique to Saint Petersburg. Thanks to our guide's commentary throughout the tour, you will gain interesting information about the city's past, its architecture, and the importance of the Neva River in Saint Petersburg's history, while photography enthusiasts can capture some truly special shots. This special night spent alongside Saint Petersburg's lights, the calm waters of the Neva, and the historic bridges rising towards the sky will be one of the most beautiful memories of your trip that stays with you for a long time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 5 MOSCOW

Our tour begins with a visit to Novodevichy Cemetery, where the grave of our famous poet Nazım Hikmet is located. We also see the graves of other important figures in Russian history. Next is the Metro tour; besides being a practical way to get around the city, it is an experience in itself offering a glimpse into the heart of Russian history and culture. Opened in 1935, the metro has become one of the world's largest and busiest metro systems with 268 stations covering every corner of the city. It is Europe's busiest metro system, serving millions of passengers daily. What makes the Moscow Metro truly unique is the architectural beauty of many of its central stations. Riding the metro not only offers a quick escape from Moscow's famous traffic but also allows you to admire the city's architectural heritage, with each station telling its own unique story. Our tour continues with Arbat Street, one of Moscow's most historically significant and enchanting streets. Walking on its cobblestone roads, you do not just stroll through a physical space but also step through layers of Russian history and culture. The street's vibrant atmosphere, with its history dating back to the 19th century, has long made it a center for artists, writers, and musicians. Charming street cafes, unique shops, and street artists contribute to its bohemian vibe, creating an area where past and present coexist perfectly. You will also find shopping opportunities on the historic Arbat Street. Free time after the tour. In the afternoon, our first stop is Red Square. The name "Red Square" comes from the Russian word "krasnaya," which historically meant both "red" and "beautiful." While today "krasnaya" is mostly associated with the color red, in olden times it also meant something beautiful or magnificent. Thus, the square's name reflects both its striking appearance and its importance as a symbol of Russian heritage. After our walk in Red Square, we visit the Kremlin; it is not only Europe's largest active fortress but also one of the strongest symbols of Russian history and authority. Originally built to protect Moscow citizens, the word "Kremlin" means "fortress within a city," a fitting description for its majestic walls and strategic location. Over centuries, as Russia's power grew, the Moscow Kremlin became the central hub of political, religious, and cultural life in the country. Today, the Kremlin is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and continues to be one of Russia's most iconic symbols. You will feel the rich history of the Kremlin up close. After the tour, return to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
