We then join workshops on mambe and huito preparation, and enrich the day with a small handicraft workshop weaving natural plant fibers. We have lunch in the maloca with local delicacies prepared using products harvested from the community’s traditional garden, the chagra. At the specified time, we return to Leticia and visit the city’s highlights; we visit a herbal pharmacy, then enjoy the sunset at Santander Park, where hundreds of parrots gather every evening to roost, accompanied by Amazon fruit ice creams and local treats.
